Re: Call Of Duty WWII

While watching the reveal, I got a "been there, done that" vibe. I mean, there is only so much you can do with WWII, that hasn't been done before. It was like watching Medal of Honor, mixed with Saving Private Ryan & A Band of Brothers. I wish, I was as hyped as some of you are.

Re: Call Of Duty WWII

Gosh, watching that makes me sorely miss the old RPG WW2 games. I hope they invest some serious time in the campaign.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Re: Call Of Duty WWII

Give me a half decent campaign in WWII and I'm sold. I'll buy it just for that.

Re: Call Of Duty WWII

Well, here's to hoping that the franchise goes back to its roots.

It will also thankfully mean the end of some of the things that were ruining the series IMO

Re: Call Of Duty WWII

Really happy they went back to their WWII roots. Medal Of Honor on the PS1 was the reason I got into shooters. I loved COD 3 on the PS3 was simple not over the top nonsense played that for many hours. I lost interest in COD as did my brother when MW2 came out as we hated where it was going. I always prefer the historical battles as that's what immerses me in the game. That's why WWI, WWII, Vietnam etc will always have my interest over futuristic. That to me is what makes playing the campaigns so fun. When it's futuristic I feel nothing when I play it. I actually enjoyed Infinite Warfares campaign but I don't want to play it again like I would WWII. Anyway looking forward to the game & went & pre-ordered it today at my local eb games.
