Played for hours last night and it's really good, some real scares too

As a fan of horror anthology series like The Twilight Zone, Tales of the Crypt, etc..., I was all in for Supermassive's new interactive movie/game. I lost 3 people however, there was a holy #h#t moment. One of them was lost after the credits rolled upon completion of the game so just a heads up.

I can't say this topped Until Dawn (kudos to such a spectacular game) but enjoyed it and the story had me engrossed in it. There's lots of scare jumps. Some cheesy, some WTF moments. There are some issues with the game though. Not sure how PC handles it but the PS4 did have quite a few frame rate drops and I wasn't crazy how some of the scenes went through a load sequence which wasn't as seamless as you would have liked when moving to the next scene or chapter.

Did my first playthrough over the weekend. Solid game - finished it without anyone croaking. The game was "creepy" but there was only one instance that legit "jump-scared" me. The characters, I don't know, I felt they were a little...bland...definitely preferred the cast from Until Dawn a lot more.

Will definitely go through the curator's cut. I'll wait until my memory has faded a bit.

Just like Detroit if my goal was to kill as many characters as possible... I did an awesome job!

Is this worth it solo? Or is it something that needs to be enjoyed co op?

Just finished my first play through. Played solo, I had 2 deaths. Replaying those chapters to make alternate decisions.

Love this game. Still playing it. So far I lost one but it was by mistake my hand slip I didn’t hit the right button. I love games like this.

Maybe nothing but did anyone else notice it? Fliss and Alex were my 2 survivors.
