taking it further, I'd rather a small city that is 1/5 the size or less as long as it's full of people and you can go into every single building/room/hallway etc. TAHT would be cool, the size has always been a non-issue for me because it just takes longer to get where you're going to. The part you'd miss out on would be the changing landscape and drastically different areas of that map, but I'd trade that in for one unique game that lets you literally go anywhere you want and it's all accessible. Same goes for cyberpunk, in fact since that's a fake city it would probably make more sense in that game. But this one with all the melee combat it could be really cool

Re: Watch Dogs Legion

Interesting article with impressions and lots of details -

https://www.pcgamer.com/watch-dogs-l...ayed-in-years/

I really like this:

Quote:
The people you meet have their own schedules, family members, jobs, and homes. "There's a huge simulation. It's not just that we create random characters, they all have their own lives and they all have their needs and wants and opinions about Dedsec, the factions and all of that stuff. So when you interact with that simulation, it's not player-centric. The simulation keeps moving. If you kill someone—you see a man and a wife and you kill the guy's wife—he's not going to go to his appointment with his wife any more, he's going to go to the graveyard instead for a little while. And then after a little time, when he's done his mourning, he'll have a new thing to do in that part of his schedule. He'll have a new friend, or a new problem or whatever. All of it keeps moving forward all the time."

Re: Watch Dogs Legion

The thought that we may be able to recruit the right people and do jobs where we are hidin in plain sight sounds amazing to me.

Another interesting article about the possibility of almost-endless scenarios -

Re: Watch Dogs Legion

I'm really hoping Ubisoft pulls this feature into their Assassins Creed series. Imagine being able to recruit your own team of assassins? I'm really excited for this feature and to see it develop in the future.

In AC Brotherhood you could recruit assassins. However, it wasn’t nearly as complex as this sounds.

This *sounds* really cool, but could also end up being somewhat repetitive or not really that fun when executed. I'm optimistic, this sounds fun. I'd just hope that the possible recruitment missions and things involved are varied enough to not be like one of 5 basic types or something similar.

Re: Watch Dogs Legion

Yeah, too early to tell. Hopefully, it's varied enough to keep your intetest throughout the campain. I have a feeling that I will spend a long time profiling people and following them during their daily routines. I will probably profile so many people instead of actually doing missions.

Anyway, here's another one to read -

https://m.ca.ign.com/articles/2019/0...s-game-e3-2019

Again, I'm really liking the fact that everyone you meet is not just an individual character, but has a set of relationships, so potentially decisions you make affect not ony that person, but the people he/she knows. We'll see how it works in reality and hopefully it is as interesting as it sound.

Quote:
Recruiting causes a ripple in the fabric of London, though. If you kill the blackmailer, you impact more relationships than just your new medical specialist’s. How does the grieving partner of the blackmailer now feel about Dedsec? It’s definitely not positive, that’s for sure. And as a result, they’ll be more difficult to recruit. And if you really angered them, they may even kidnap your team members off the streets, or join Dedsec’s enemies to get their revenge.
