I met my fiance on Myspace, I tried mostly dating sites before that - kind of funny how that works.

The best one I ever tried was webdate.com - not sure if it's still around or not. It had a free "chat" and webcam section at first (they probably charge monthly membership now) and it was really convenient to send messages and just meet cool people on webcam. I actually physically met up with a lovely brunette I had been talking to - things didn't work out obviously.

I have been thinking about making some profiles on a couple of sites. I figured it couldn't hurt. I am just not sure if I did get a hit from someone I would trust them to just not be trolling. Might just work some OT and put it towards one of the pay sites.

I'm sure there are some sites out there like that, but from experience I can say Match.com is legit. That was 4 years ago though. Could be different now.

Probably is filled with spam.Would Craigslist count as online?
