Hmm, I read the synopsis on the one and it seems a bit too political for what I'm looking for.

When I am done with my current books, I will look him up. I like those sort of books as well, so thanks!

Re: OS Book Club Pt II

I'm reading "Killer Show" by John Barylick.

It's about The Station Nightclub Fire that happened back in '03.

It's really interesting, but sad at the same time.

I've always been haunted by it though, considering that I could have easily seen myself in a place like that (despite the fact that Great White sucks)

Ended up picking up Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. Loved Angels & Demons and Da Vinci Code, and had forgotten that the third book in the series had come out a couple years back.

As Bruins said, they're not the same type of books. Silva's Gabriel Allon series (which starts with The Kill Artist) is more of an international spy thriller, with a lot of historical art fiction in it, historical locations and all that.

Don't expect much. I enjoyed the first two, but the last one just felt hokey.

I'm just along for the ride. Neither of the first two books are that deep, but they were enjoyable (the movies, though...). A few chapters into TLS, and so far, so good.

I'm looking to purchase a good Mystery/Thriller book. Something that'll keep me on the edge of my seat, that won't allow me to go to sleep at night.

Or even an action book.

Any recommendations?
