I spent the night in the bed of my dads truck once. He had picked my sister and I up after we spent a week visiting relatives near Philadelphia and I guess we left in the evening and stopped somewhere in central PA for the night. Funny thing was that it started pouring at one point during the night but I was sleeping on my right (giood) ear and since I have no hearing in my left ear, I was totally oblivious to the rain despite the racket it made on the aluminum cam. My dad was reaching through the window trying to wake me up and get me to shut the side window of the cap but I was still half asleep and couldn't figure out what he was trying to tell me to do.

My dad and I also slept on chaise lounges on our deck one night during the summer of '93. Our dog who was in his pen in the back yard below the deck kept playing with his ball all night because he knew we were up there.

Now that I'm thinking, back in Boy Scouts, I spent the night on someone's patio, using my TENT as a blanket.

We were leaving the camp in Hawaii to fly to another island, but we were due out of the camp the previous night, so we had to find a place to spend the night and this guy let us crash in his yard with tents. I was too lazy to put up my tent for 8 hours.

Another time I made my own tiny hut out of sticks and leaves and slept in it for a merit badge

Slept in the bathtub with water still in it. I've heard of people drowning to death in those circumstances so i'm glad nothing of the sort happened to me.
