re: Off-Topic

I want Radio Shack back.

Every time I needed a little piece of something, they were a couple of minutes drive away and always had it.

If it means a possibility of competition that lowers prices, then I'm all for it!

I actually liked Circuit City back in the day.

Pretty much all TVs are umrp, which means the manufacturers set the pricing.

Is that true for sales as well?

Like if Best Buy has a TV on sale, are they mandated by the manufacturer as to how low the sale price can be?

I liked Circuit City a lot, too. I used to like to go to both stores and browse around aimlessly. Back when I had time to do that sort of thing....

Nevertheless, they seemed to have slightly different product offerings, and I bought at least as much stuff at Circuit City as I did at Best Buy over the years.

re: Off-Topic

I am so ready for Spring.

We've had spring like temps the last few days. Last night I got out and grilled some steaks, then finished the evening drinking a cold beverage while sitting on the back deck listening to the creek run.

This morning I drank my morning coffee out there just relaxing and listening to nature's music.

Too bad that tomorrow winter rears its ugly head again, as we are due to have snow and ice.

Dam, that sounds like a darn civilized way to live, country.
