Re: RIP Mo...

Wow, I'm in disbelief as just saw this thread. I enjoyed his posts, especially in FM.

R.I.P Mo... thoughts and prayers to family and friends.

Re: RIP Mo...

I'm really gonna miss his sense of humor, he had impeccable timing with jokes on OS, and although I don't have a ton of interaction with people on twitter, he was always someone to hit me with a playful jab when I had neighbor complaints or just general dumb stuff I'd post, he'd be there with an equally dumb yet witty reply. He even had humor about himself when he had the miget moniker, gonna miss Mo for sure, RIP

Re: RIP Mo...

They will be laying Mo to rest later today.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm still devastated and I'll remain devastated. It's incredibly hard to believe that this actually happened.

Re: RIP Mo...

I've been trying to stay away from this thread because reading this stuff only makes it harder.

For better or worse (at least in regards to my productivity), Mo was one of the first guys I came into contact with on OS back in the heady NCAA days. Wasn't long before I found the college football forum and then once I found the neighborhood/supporters area I was all in on OS. And Mo was one of those guys that was there for ever step, even the pivot to twitter dot com.

For a lot of us (mainly those who don't support United) he was the guy who would try and troll us at every given chance, and I'll definitely miss that because it was always harmless and fun. But he did not let on how much good he did in the world. Dude had a heart of gold and did a lot for his people and for his city. Like many, many of y'all here was there for me after the flood in the lowest point of my life and I will forever be thankful for that. The human race lost a good one.

Glad he got to see the Cubs win one in his time, sad he could never see Alex Lange pitch for them and ask me for a refund after every appearance. Because he would.

I thought I would share this leukemia ribbon for anyone who might want to use it as their avatar in honor of Mo being laid to rest today.

And didn't know if anyone else would want to have their username changed to orange, the color associated with leukemia.

Maybe if we do, we can somehow share all of us having this solidarity in remembrance of Mo with his family and friends.
