Auburn Streak Continues

The Tigers faced the 8th ranked Rebels on the road on Saturday evening and put together the most complete game since Gus Malzahn's arrival at Auburn. The team played efficient, protected the ball, and dominated both sides of the ball.

Auburn finished the game with 413 yards of offense to Ole Miss's 152. The rushing yards were 275 Auburn to 16 by the Rebels. Auburn was 11-12 passing, 5-6 on 3rd downs, 6-6 in the red zone, and no 4th down attempts: just a very efficient game.

Auburn RB Aaron Hicks had another great performance with 32 carries for 208 yards. No huge runs this week but he was good for 6.5 yards a carry and moved the chains for Auburn.

The final was 49-6 as Auburn upsets Ole Miss. The Tigers now prepare for their first true test of the year as they travel to Texas A&M next week.
