Miami Ends the Season With a Bowl Win

Miami entered the Sun Bowl following a disappointing loss in the ACC Championship to rival Boston College. What would have been the school's first ever conference championship since moving to the ACC was instead an embarrassing performance that left fans and other coaches around the country in disbelief. Many people around the state of Florida wondered how Miami would respond following such a heartbreaking defeat, but the team would get their chance in Orlando against Mid Tennessee State.

The Canes opened the game with a big kick return from their big play WR Mike Ross and it looked like the team would come out firing, but the whole first half looked like the BC game all over again. Face Mask calls on 3rd downs, a punt return TD called back for clipping, easy drops by the teams best WRs, everything was ugly. Miami managed to do just enough to hold MTSU to 2 fgs and led 10-6 at halftime.

The 3rd quarter was the turning point of the game. Nothing special happened for the Canes but consistent plays started to slowly push the momentum in Miami's favor. The defense made stops and the offense began to move the ball. There were 3 or 4 drives throughout the game that Miami pounded the ball through JR RB John Hunt and found enough success to move the chains down to the goaline.

The Canes finally sealed the game after scoring 2 tds in the fourth quarter. The coaching staff was able to relax and put in some of the younger guys who will get alot of time next year. The Canes close out the 2020 season with a 34-10 victory and are now focused on the 2021 season.

The uniform store is apparently back up. I suggest anyone who doesn't have them go get the packs so i don't have to use the crappy default ones when we play
