Maryland is able to hobble out with a win at home against West Virginia with a final score of 27-14.

Maryland struggled for most of this game due to turnovers. They accumulated a total of 5 turnovers. All of which came from Redshirt senior Caleb Rowe, who is finally making his first start for the Maryland offense. He fumbled once and threw the ball the to the other team four times. It's safe to say that they should not have won this game, but the defense ensured that they did win by limiting them to a total of 265 yards on offense and affording one turnover.

The fans at UMD can rest easy tonight knowing that they were able to defeat border rival West Virginia for another year. The Terps will be preparing for an early conference match-up against Iowa next week followed by an out of conference game against ACC powerhouse #12 Miami in a neutral site. Can Maryland keep the winning going this early on? I guess we'll find out in the coming weeks.
