NBA Jam, Where Is The Roster Update?

Yeah, it doesn't really play like it used to. Don't get me wrong its fun but being on fire just doesn't really give you as much of a boost as it used to. Anything that isn't a dunk is almost a wasted shot attempt, no matter what you're ratings are.

Is there any way to save the teams that are entered in by initials? The teams with button presses (Republicans, Democrats, Beastie Boys, etc) all save, but the Sprite, Adidas, ESPN, etc teams don't.

Any clue?

I'd like to have them there for play now, but really don't want to have to input the initials in every single time I boot up the game.

I think you can unlock them by beating different Jam Challenges. Not sure if there's another way to get permanent access though.

that is not true. first off, with anyone that's less than say a 5 dunk rating, if u try to dunk it, i'll block it (and most people online will). with a player such as, say mo williams, you are waaay better off just taking a long 2 pointer than going for a dunk/layup, because those are a lot easier to get up without being blocked, and if you're a good 2 point shooter, they go in most of the time (for instance i use mo all the time and he hits like 90% of his 2 pointers, dunk/layups only go in like 20% of the time due to them being so easy to block). not to mention 3 point shooting

Also agree with you on the black and white "don't care" issue. Not sure why people are being hostile towards you on your beliefs. It's as simple as this...

Release a game, don't touch it after release (releasing the new game modes that they didn't press on disks because of the botched Elite is not "touching it after release"), then I don't see how it can be argued that you "care".

Release a game, update it, interact with community, ANYTHING else shows that yeah, you care.

EA has released this game that had outdated rosters at the time it was going gold and hasn't touched it since and has just collected money.

For people that are saying EA cares about this specific title, what exactly are you basing it on?

If this game doesn't get an update after the trade deadline, it will NEVER be updated. It is NBA Jam after all.

EA is out of control IMO. The iPhone app has on point rosters (Vince on the Suns, etc). If you only bought the app, you get an up to date game at for less than $8. Sad for us who dropped $50. I refuse to support EA again.
