still a few more weeks until playoffs start here in Florida.


btw...Lakeland H.S. is going be on FSN tonight live...they are playing Osceola...not that it will be a good game...Lakeland should beat the mess out of them....but at least they are going to be on TV for those who can see it.

Ummm, I just looked at the NC high school playoff stuff. There are 8 different state champs for football. THAT IS HORRIBLE! There are teams with 1-9 records in the playoffs last year.

We are 0-8 going into our final game of the season. We hired one of the most prestigeous coaches in Kansas and he cant do jack ****. We are known to be one of the best programs in kansas for football.

Not sure when the playoffs start in Ohio but it's Massillon/McKinley week in Canton and both teams are 9-0. There will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 25K at the game. GO PUPS!

Yeah, they just started that crap a few years ago. Freakin' "Everybody gets a ribbon" mentality.

When I was in school, there were 4 state champs. 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A. Now, they do 1A, 1AA, 2A, 2AA, and so on and so forth. Becuase they basically doubled the available playoff spots, they now get stuck with some pretty damn awful teams in the playoffs for the low classifications.

Yeah its pretty bad

Championship game will be Independence vs Richmond Sr. though, or whoever wins that game some other time during the playoffs will be champion.
