Thanks for the heads up on the roster update, I have XBL, but don't use it very much. Guess I'll have to restart my season.

I've only played one game so far, and it's VERY hard to get used to. It seems like it's pretty fun offensively throwing the ball. Once I get the controls down and play against a real opponent, it'll be real fun I'm sure.

The people who have said defense is fun, maybe I'm missing it. It's probably just that I need to get the controls down a little better.

I'm liking it, but there is a learning curve. I don't know the rules of AFL (such as where the LB's have to line up and you can only blitz one player, etc). But I really like the feature of being able to control the receiver and run your own route. The controls are different from madden and they can't be modified, so I'm having trouble getting used to them.

well i just lost my first game 45-42, I had the ball on like the 20 going in with one play left and didn't quite make it in. Scoring a lot certainly is different. My qb was 19 of 31 for 315 yds and 5 td's. I was down 24-7 i think before I started getting the hang of things. I'm gonna hop online now and see how that goes. Anybody have any particular questions?

Well I have the game right now, just waiting for the roster save post and getting a paper out of the way for class. Man I just want to play it so bad right now lol.

Sounds good, I'm glad it is tough. I hope that it is realistically hard though and doesn't rely on rubber-band AI. I know EA has toned down (or completely eliminated) the rubber-band AI stuff in the past few years though.

just won game #2 65-31 playing with the Colorado Crush. This game was much easier as I am getting used to the controls and rules of AFL, I'm just playing this on default everything.

QB was 18/27 for 249 yds and 8 td's
