high school football game, would you buy?

If they had a high school football game would you buy it? Just this year alone that have came out with NFL Head Coach and College baseball. Two games that are both sorta niche markets and not for everyone. You could even release the game at a diffrent time of year that way people dont have 4 football games coming out within a 2 month span. Here are some of the features it could include

1. Since it would be unpossible to have all real high schools take a state like Texas or Flordia and have real schools. Then have the rest generic teams

2. Have a very in depth create a school

3. Have all the diffrent classes and make it your goal to win the state title.

4. Your players would be recruited by and show up to the games etc.

5. Be able to transfer recruits into NCAA you would probley have to do it before the players senior season because of the in season recruiting.

They are probley a lot more stuff you could add, what do yall think?

It is a nice pipe dream, but I doubt it ever comes to fruition. If it did, I really think it would need to be regionalized to an extent. They would need to have core teams, like from Florida say Lakeland, Carol City, Edgewater, Lincoln, St. Thomas Aquinus (fill in your own list from California or Texas), with other more well known national teams like Hoover in Alabama, but it would need to have a local flavor as well. I know where I live HS Football is a big deal, and I bet people would buy the game if it featured local HS Teams.

if the game had a few anchor schools like hippo listed before and made the rest of the teams, divisions, playoff formats, etc., fully customizable for the editing community, it might work, but i'd doubt it would.

It really seems as if it would be best for the PC market, where you could have that massive customization.

I remember back in the good ole FBPro days some people tried starting a mammoth league that would begin in HS and move all the way into the NFL.

I like the idea of starting at HS then playing in NCAA and eventually Madden.
I can't see how EA would be able to use any real HS teams because of licensing fees. I think it would have to be generic teams with a lot of customs options.

I doubt that most HS's have elaborate trademarks set up.

High school football players have big enough heads as it is, they don't need their own video game to boot. What are you gonna have, a Dynasty mode where little Jimmy misses a start because he got a D on his Algebra test?
