YouTube is down or I'd give you a video representation of the game. Basically it's a fun simplistic game of football with a limited # of plays on offense and defense. Here is the visual aid:

The offense is in the Dolphin colored uniforms. Player #2 on the "Dolphins" has just released the ball (that ham shaped thing attached to his body is his arm in forward motion). The receiver was picked by "cycling through". Each click of the button progressed to one of three receivers. A nice game which would go platinum if they made the right adjustments.

Nah it was good back in the day but I would have no interest in playing it now.

You forgot to mention the most important thing about the game. Bo Jackson was the pinnacle of video game gods in Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl. Even if you called his play, he would bust it for a TD.

For some reason when I deleted the "dating site" post for Spam it said I deleted this one. I reopened it. Tecmo Bowl is hardly spam!

Its funny how even way back then on tecmo bowl you had to look at the reciever you were throwing too..But when then put it on madden people say its stupid.....bring back the cone!!! (default all madden)
