You wouldn't need to recruit. Off-season training would have to be the majority of the out-of game work for long-term offline play. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but if they do it well and in-depth, it could be fun. Doubt it will be made anytime soon though.

I would love a HS game, as long as EA had nothing to do with it, unless they redid the PS2 engine imported

I doubt anyone could really get it right, just has so many unpredictable things about it that probably wouldn't be taken into account for if it was made. If it was pretty close to how it really is, then I'd definitely play it. I love the concept(or the one I am thinking of based off of experience) though.
