Yes, Mutant League Football may have a better chance of coming back then most people think.

Part of the short article shown on July 2013 states.

The question is will EA back Mendheim on this endeavor or if he's just going to run it himself and go the 'indie game' route, without having to bend over backwards for a major publisher.

Thoughts? I love Mutant League Football, and I hope something comes of this.

Looks like the trademark was filed back in July of this year.

However, if you go to Michael Mendheim's twitter feed, there are some hints being dropped about "some cool news coming in September."

Also the line, "No matter how big or small...it's always hard to ship a game."
