The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) is looking for developers to join the
Mobile Madness Challenge to develop a game for mobile devices. The goal from the NFLPA's perspective is to get a game of high quality that wouldn't otherwise be able to be developed.
Winners of the challenge will get a 10,000 credit towards marketing the game via Activate, the NFLPA's endorsement, and (of course) an official NFLPI license for the 2014-2015 season.
Deadline to enter is April 20, 2014. Three finalists will be chosen to pitch their concepts to the NFLPI executive team.
This contest has nothing to do with the existing exclusive deal the NFLPA has with EA and
Madden NFL Football which they say has "a number of years left."
