I think yes, and no. It was far from the pick up and play experience that was advertised. Instead of being *instantly good at this game, you were terrible at first; just like playing football for the first time- all over again. It was *disheartening. But, when you did do something really good, it was very rewarding. It played more like real , old school football. It was not flashy, big plays all the time like Madden; it was more of the 3 yards and a cloud of dust type of game. I still go back to it from time to time. I watch YouTube videos of it regularly, and marvel at those who have mastered it. The developers were close to a really good game. They just needed another patch or two to make it solid. Just my opinion, though.*

It's a very good game of American football.

I loved it but the patch ruined the running game imo. I really wish they just added the features and didn't touch the gameplay.

I also wish it was backwards compatible because I would totally play it now and last gen - I have the game but can't boot it up!

I never picked up the console release which was a shame. I played the mobile version of tackle alley on mobile and had a blast. Too bad it's not even available anymore.
