The Eddie Howe Story: FIFA 12

Rising from the ashes of the old Football League First Division, the FA Premier League was born on February 20th of 1992, and since it's creation a curious thing has taken place, an English manager has never risen the trophy as Premier League Champion. This dynasty aims to put an end to that. A 34 year old former defender from Amersham, England Eddie Howe is one of the finest young Managers in the game today and it is his goal to become the first Englishman to raise the Premier League Trophy as Champion, this is his story........

For those who are interested this will be a FIFA 12 dynasty played entirely on legendary with a legendary board, I will sim through the preseason, but play out every regular season, Cup, and play-off games that come my way. The goal here is obviously to win a Premier League Championship(s), nothing more nothing less. I will begin using Eddie's current club Burnley who are at present playing in the NPower Championship. The board has asked for a mid-table finish and a place in the final 16 in the Carling Cup, my aim is promotion.

Eddie Howe Hired To Manage Burnley

Burnley- Eddie Howe arrives at Turf moor today one of the rising stars of English football management after his transformation of the fortunes of AFC Bournemouth.
Having taken control of his home club in January of 2009, Howe led the Cherries away from the threat of relegation out of the football league despite the penalty of a 17 point deduction. Twelve months later, despite financial restrictions and a transfer embargo the former Bournemouth defender took the club up as they finished second in League Two to clinch promotion behind Champions Notts County.
Amersham born, Howe has spent virtually all of his career at Dean Court, where he started in the club's Centre Of Excellence and supported the club as a boy.
His achievements at Dean Court made him one of the most in-demand managers in the game, with Peterborough, Southampton, Charlton Athletic, and Crystal Palace all understood to have shown an interest securing his services. Howe resisted all those overtures to continue Bournemouth's development. But with Burnley offering him the chance to manage at a highly ambitious and well placed Championship club, he took the plunge to become the Clarets new manager.

East Lancashire Derby:
Welcome To Hell

The mills have gone but there is still something dark and satanic whenever Blackburn and Burnley meet in perhaps the most savage rivalry in British football. It is also one of the most seldom played- just six clashes since 1983. Today, Ewood Park stages their first meeting since Blackburn defeated Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor in March of 2010, the last time both teams resided in the Premier League together. Blackburn also took the first meeting that year, winning by 3-2 right here at Ewood.

Robinson Stars As Blackburn Take Derby 3-0

Blackburn- In a bitterly fought contest at Blackburn's Ewood Park, Rovers keeper Paul Robinson proved all the difference, making several tremendous saves in a 3-0 triumph over rival Burnley. Despite the loss, Eddie Howe's men fought valiantly, taking the play to Blackburn while accumulating the majority of the chances. In the end however Robinson proved to good on this day and Blackburn defeated Burnley once again, giving them six wins and one draw in the last seven East Lancashire derbies.
As for the rest of the preseason, Howe's Clarets showed lots of grit, but ended with a record of just 1-2-0, losing to both Blackburn and Pohang Steelers while defeating and admittedly short AC Milan squad. The regular season begins on Saturday August 6th, in a home match against Barnsley.

At
Carling Cup Round One

Burnley- Following a bit of a slow start which resulted in League One club Notts County snatching a 1-0 lead when striker Lee Hughes easily slipped one past Burnley keeper Lee Grant at the 32' minute mark, Clarets striker Jay Rodriguez put on a tremendous performance in front of the home fans, scoring in the 35th, 69th(Pen), and 79th minutes, securing the hat trick as Burnley went on to defeat Notts County by the score of 3-1 advancing them into round two of the Carling Cup.
