LONDON - Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has been relieved of his duties per sources close to the team. Wenger has been the Gunners manager since October of 1996, leading them in 1,041 games, compiling a record of 594-246-201 (57.06%).

Arsenal haven't found themselves at the top of the Premier League Table since the 2003-2004 season, and the board has decided it's time for a change.

Current Arsenal Fitness Coach and former Australian International, Josh Hedges has been named manager--and inked a 3 year deal, the terms of which are currently unknown. Hedges stated in an earlier press conference that he plans to bring a fresh new approach to the club, which is sure to bring plenty of excitement to Gunners fans.

England Internationals Lead New Arsenal Attack

LONDON -- Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain got the scoring going late in the first half, and Danny Welbeck added 2 goals in 3 minutes early in the 2nd to lead Arsenal to an easy first win for new Gunners manager Josh Hedges.

Arsenal will continue to experiment with different formations in their remaining two friendlies before opening Premier League play against Crystal Palace.

Possible Riff Between Hedges and Ozil?

LONDON -- It has been reported that German midfielder Mesut Özil will not start in Arsenal's Premier League opener vs Crystal Palace on Saturday. Rumors are circulating that new manager Josh Hedges is not pleased with the German's efforts during training, and has cited low work rates to not bode well for his style of managing.

Summer transfer and Chilean International, Alexis Sánchez will make his Arsenal debut and start as the CAM in Hedges 4-2-3-1 formation. It has not been made known if Özil will be available off the bench. Surely Hedges will at least leave him available as a substitue, and perhaps give him an opportunity to show some effort.

Welbeck Brilliant In Arsenal Debut

LONDON -- Danny Welbeck netted a hat trick in his Arsenal debut Saturday afternoon at The Emirates. Teamed with Alexis Sanchez at the CAM position, in a mysterious move made my Josh Hedges to bench Mesut Özil, the two were dynamic on offense, with Sanchez assisting on 2 of Welbeck's goals. Arsenal head to Goodison Park next week to face Everton.

Everton Storm Back To Earn Draw With Arsenal

LIVERPOOL -- Arsenal stormed out to a 3-1 lead on the road in just 29 minutes, but the gray conditions at Goodison Park couldn't keep the home side down. Kevin Mirallas netted a goal in extra time in the first half, and Samuel Eto'o connected on an equalizer in the 80th minute to earn the 3-3 draw.
