Corey Graves: Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw! To many surprises, CM Punk will be in Philadelphia for the 2018 Royal Rumble Match!
Michael Cole: What a crazy announcement! I can't believe we are going to see CM Punk back in a WWE ring!
IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ The Balor Club's music hits, and they come out to loud boos from the Phoenix crowd. The Balor Club will be making an announcement about their plans for this year’s Royal Rumble. Balor stands in the ring, and the boos get louder. Faintly underneath is the sound of women and children screaming. Finn just stands there and soaks it in with his mates. Balor says some people may not like this, but some may love it. When it comes down to it, The Balor Club cannot be beaten by anyone. Ask Roman Reigns. Ask Seth Rollins. Ask Dean Ambrose. Ask THE SHIELD! The Balor Club took them out, and none of them have been seen since. Let’s not forget, Balor wants the WWE Universal Championship, and Gallows along with Anderson want the Tag Team Championships. There are loud boos for this. A “Shield” chant fires up. Balor says he respects Braun Strowman, and his strength, and he respects Samoa Joe and his ability, but no man can defeat Finn Balor. Gallows and Anderson will have a Number One Contender Tag Team Match next week on Raw to determine who will meet with The Revival at the Royal Rumble, and Finn Balor is the second man to enter his name in this year's Royal Rumble Match!
The Shield make their way on out from the crowd! The Hounds of Justice surround the ring as The Balor Club is ready for anything to unfold. Roman Reigns starts to speak on how he was the one pinned in the six-man tag team match at Clash of Champions, and how he was the one to let down his brothers. Seth Rollins pipes in, and says it wasn't one mans fault for the loss, it was a collective unit loss for The Shield. Dean Ambrose now comes in to speak, and says this isn't the last time The Balor Club, and The Shield will meet up...because next week it will be Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins versus Gallows and Anderson in the Number One Contender Tag Team Match! As well as Dean Ambrose versus Finn Balor in a singles match in which the loser has to enter as number one in the Royal Rumble Match! Finn Balor and The Balor Club are going ballistic as we head to commercial.
~ Beauty and the Man Beast will be in action against Anderson and Gallows, next.
~ Roman Reigns will take on Samoa Joe… tonight!
Tag Team Match:
Beauty and the Man Beast vs. The Balor Club (with Finn Balor)
Rhyno locks up with Karl Anderson. Rhyno wrenches the arm and tags in Slater. Heath comes off the second rope with a sledge to the arm. Slater works on the arm before driving him into the corner. Rhyno tags back in, and they whip Anderson into the corner before hitting a double-team suplex. Rhyno picks up a two count. The Revival are seen watching backstage. Luke Gallows tags in, and he punches Rhyno down. Gallows hits a short-arm clothesline, but he misses an elbow drop. Slater tags in. They send Gallows into the corner. Rhyno gives him a corner clothesline while Slater knocks Anderson off the apron. They hit Beautiful Beast on Gallows for a two count. Gallows makes a comeback and tags in Anderson. Anderson uppercuts him in the corner and clubs him down. A “I Have Kids” chant fires up. Anderson whips him to his corner, but Slater knocks Gallows off the apron. Heath goes for a corkscrew, but Anderson crotches him on the top rope. Slater crashes down to the mat.
Rhyno is tagged in, and he clotheslines Anderson before knocking Gallows off the apron. Rhyno punches Anderson down and knocks Gallows back to the floor. Rhyno bounces Anderson off all three turnbuckles before clotheslining him in the corner. Rhyno goes for a bulldog, but Anderson pushes him off. Rhyno boots him back and hits an elbow off the second rope. Rhyno hits a Side Belly-to-belly, but Gallows breaks up the pin. Gallows quickly knocks Slater out of the ring, and Rhyno clotheslines him out of the ring. Anderson rolls Rhyno up with the tights for a two count. Outside the ring, Gallows boots Slater down on the floor. Luke is back in the ring, Magic Killer onto Rhyno!

IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ Elias Samson is in the ring strumming his guitar. The crowd boos him. Samson greets the crowd, and he has a question for everyone in the crowd: who wants to walk with Elias? When he was 15, his father gave him a guitar and said he could tell the stories of the world with it. His father didn’t realize he’d drift into the god forsaken town of...loud boos start to be thrown at him, and Samson tells them to relax and open their minds to his music, which will cleanse their filthy souls. Samson starts to strum, but he stops to tune it. Samson asks for complete silence while he tunes the guitar. He then says he will be in the 2018 Royal Rumble Match.
- We cut to a backstage segment -
~ BROKEN Matt Hardy is seen in a weird area. He says that Brother Nero will be deleted, and his actions at Clash of Champions were DISPICABLE – YAS! Hahaha. Brother Nero will be rendered OBSOLETE, and will be DELETED at the Royal Rumble as The Hardy Boy, and Brother Nero will both be in the Royal Rumble Match.
Jeff Hardy: Matt, I know you are in there somewhere. We have fought all over this country, and many others together. We have won so many tag team championships together, and most of all…you’re my brother, man. I love you, and I am going to help you get out of this. That is why when I heard you are in the Royal Rumble Match, I quickly entered as well.
BROKEN Matt Hardy: How DELIGHTFUL! You think there is something wrong with me? Hahahaha. Oh Brother Nero…you are an IMBUSAL! At the Royal Rumble I will delete you from the match, and from my life!

ONE ON ONE MATCH
Apollo Crews (with Titus Worldwide) vs. Bo Dallas (with Miz, Maryse, & Curtis Axel)
Bo Dallas quickly attacks Apollo and punches him down in the corner. The referee backs him up. The bell hasn’t rung yet. The referee checks on Crews and asks if he’s ok to fight. Apollo takes off his shirt and agrees to start the match.
The bell rings, and Dallas punches away at him in the corner. Dallas then hits a short-arm clothesline. Dallas chokes him on the bottom rope and clubs away at him. Dallas sends him into the barricade and knees him in the face. Dallas puts him in the ring for a two count. Dallas applies a neck cravat, but Apollo fights up. Crews boots him back, but Dallas comes back with an uppercut. Crews then lays him out with a Belly-to-belly. Apollo gets to his feet and punches away at him. Crews clubs him in the back and stomps away at him. Apollo clotheslines him out of the ring, goes to the apron, and wipes him out with a running shoulderblock! Miz and Axel come over to aid Dallas, but Akira Tozawa from inside the ring with a corkscrew lays them out! Crews and Dallas are back in the ring, and Apollo is looking for the running dropkick! Maryse with the distraction! Dallas catches Crews with a quick Bo-Plex!

~ Neville comes on out to the ring showcasing his Cruiserweight Championship. You are looking at the first ever two time Cruiserweight Champion, and the KING of the Cruiserweights! There is not a single Cruiserweight in the world that can defeat me! Aries tried, Tozawa tried, they all have tried and have FAILED! Now I have nobody left to compete with, not a single Cruiserweight in the back can dethrone me now…I will forever be the King.
Rey Mysterio: Neville, you are not the first ever two time Cruiserweight Champion. There was a whole different era before yours, and man, we were so much better! We use to entertain the crowd, we use to have them on their feet cheering…and now, now the crowd can’t wait for these seven minute long, piss break matches to be finished so they can see what else is on the card! That ain’t right, that ain’t right to the Cruiserweights of old. And for you Neville, it will be you and me at the Royal Rumble for that title!
Neville: You are the ultimate underdog, and I will show the world in a few weeks at the Royal Rumble that you are just an old, washed up, NOBODY! Challenge accepted, old man.

BACKSTAGE SEGEMENT:
~ Charly Caruso is backstage with Samoa Joe. She asks how he’s preparing for Roman Reigns. Joe says she’s asking the wrong question. The question is how is how is Braun Strowman preparing for Samoa Joe? Strowman needs to realize who he’s dealing with, and at the Royal Rumble there will be a rematch with a stipulation. However, tonight, Reigns will leave here as a broken man. He’s going to teach Reigns his name and to respect it, again.
ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks
The new Raw Women’s Champion, Nia Jax, is ready for her first big match as Champion. Nia quickly drives Sasha into the ropes. Sasha avoids a charge, hits Shotgun Knees in the corner. Sasha unloads with shots, but Nia catches Sasha off the ropes and drives her into the corner, followed by an avalanche. Nia with a biel, then mows down Sasha with a running body attack. We head to commercial.
Back from commercial as Nia continues to work over Sasha. Sasha goes for the Bank Statement, but Nia shoos her off. Nia then goes to work on the injured knee of Sasha. Sasha avoids a charge, sending Nia into the ringpost. Sasha hits Meteora for 2 as Nia powers out. Nia then hits a Pop-Up Samoan Drop for the win.

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe
The bell rings, and they circle the ring. They lock up, and Joe backs him to the corner. They circle the ring again and lock up. Reigns applies a side headlock, but Joe whips him off. Reigns goes for a shoulder block, but Joe doesn’t go down. Joe tries for a shoulder block, but Reigns stays standing. Joe tells him to learn his name and shoves him. Reigns punches him, but Joe comes back with a knee. Reigns quickly comes back with a shoulder block. Reigns charges, but Joe rolls out of the ring looking frustrated. Joe takes his time before getting back in the ring. There is definitely a buzz in the crowd for the match. Joe jabs away at Reigns and punches him down in the corner. Joe forearms him, but Reigns fights back. Reigns gets him in the corner, but he has a whip to the corner reversed. Joe splashes him and connects with a quick overhead kick. Joe tries for the Coquina Clutch, but Reigns quickly escapes the ring. Joe stares at him and talks a little trash from the ring. Reigns takes his time before getting in the ring. They wildly punch each other before Joe knees him and head-butts him down. Joe yells at him, “What’s my name?” Joe continues to strike him and talk trash. Joe chops him before hitting the ropes. Reigns quickly takes him down with a Samoan Drop. Reigns rolls out of the ring and tries for a Drive By Dropkick, but Joe moves. Joe kicks him in the ribs and drives his back into the ring post. Joe follows up with a senton splash on the floor.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Joe drop an elbow on Reigns. Joe circles him and stomps him. Joe takes his time before applying a chin lock. Reigns fights up, but Joe knees him in the midsection and head-butts him down. Joe tries for a senton splash, but Reigns rolls out of the way. Joe charges, but Reigns moves. Reigns hits a pair of clotheslines before having a whip reversed on him. Joe avoids a leaping clothesline, but Reigns turns around and feeds him a big boot for a near fall. Joe stumbles to the corner. Reigns clubs him ten times in the corner before connecting with a leaping clothesline. Reigns sets up for a Superman Punch, but Joe quickly leaves the ring. Reigns sneaks outside and lays him out with a Drive By Dropkick. Reigns gets him in the ring and tries for a Superman Punch, but Joe counters into an inverted atomic drop, a big boot, and a senton splash for a near fall. Joe is not happy with this. Joe tries for a uranage, but Reigns elbows out. Reigns counters with an arm drag and connects with a Superman Punch for a near fall. Reigns sets up for a Spear, but Joe kicks him in the face, sends him into the ropes, and connects with a uranage for a near fall! Joe cannot believe it.
Joe tries for a Coquina Clutch, but Reigns fights it and backs him into the corner. Reigns connects with a Spear and covers, but Joe gets his foot on the bottom rope! Joe then rolls out of the ring to recover. A “This is awesome” chant fires up. The referee is counting Joe out, but he gets back in at the count of nine. Reigns cannot believe he got back in the ring.
“RAAAWWWWWWWW” BRAUN STROWMAN IS MAKING HIS WAY OUT TO THE RING! The Universal Champion must have not been happy with what Joe has to say earlier in the night, and now he is making a…WAIT! Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose of The Shield pop out from the crowd, and are attacking Braun Strowman! WAIT! THE BALOR CLUB ARE MAKING THEIR WAY DOWN FROM THE RAMP! Balor with a shotgun dropkick to the back of Strowman sending him down onto Ambrose! The Balor Club are now taking it to Seth Rollins! Roman Reigns sees what is transpiring, and looks at the ropes, and back at all of the chaos. Reigns runs to the ropes, and ducks a clothesline from Joe, and launches himself over the top rope taking out his comrades and The Balor Club! Strowman is in the ring! RAWWWW! Strowman trucks over Joe, and delivers his devastating running powerslam. Roman Reigns is back in the ring and tries for the Superman punch, but Strowman catches him and gives him a running powerslam! The Balor Club are retreating up the ramp as Ambrose and Rollins are out of it on the outside, Joe and Reigns are out on the inside, and Braun Strowman looking like he is not finished with anyone yet!
IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ We open Smackdown Live in the middle of the ring with Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan in the ring. Shane McMahon starts by saying that CM Punk’s announcement to return to the WWE is a game changer for everyone. Nobody is safe, and he is shocked Raw would just blow right over CM Punk. It goes to show how that show is ran over on Monday’s. Daniel Bryan then chimes in, and says that he knows that CM Punk has not decided which brand to sign with, but he promises that if CM Punk joins Smackdown Live, he will have a title shot waiting for him.
AJ Styles: Wait for one second! Are you seriously telling me that you are…willingly may I had, handing over a title shot to CM Punk, a man who left this company and trashed it on his way out along with a lawsuit. Seriously? Man, you two will go down to any level to show that you have zero integrity! I hope CM Punk chooses to come to Smackdown Live just so I can beat his ***, and put him into retirement for good! AJ Styles doesn’t wait for anyone, AJ Styles doesn’t make excuses, AJ Styles is YOUR WWE CHAMPION!
Shane McMahon: Well first, AJ, you have to deal with Baron Corbin at the Royal Rumble PPV to defend that WWE Championship of yours…but tonight you can meet up with Luke Harper!

ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Jinder Mahal (with Singh Brothers) vs. Randy Orton
The bell rings and here we go. Mahal avoids an early RKO and rolls out. Orton with a clothesline to Mahal on the outside. Mahal sends Orton into the side of the ring hitting his left shoulder. Mahal gets Orton back in and works over his left arm. A loud “LET’S GO JINDER/JINDER SUCKS” chant starts up. Orton breaks free and starts stomping away. Orton with repeated uppercuts to Mahal. Mahal goes back to work on the arm of Orton and then drops a quick knee off the ropes. Orton tosses Mahal over the top rope and then dumps him over the middle announce table at ringside! Back inside, Mahal recovers and goes back to work on the left arm/shoulder of Orton. Mahal hits the corner steel ring post with force when Orton moves out of the way. Orton crotches Mahal up on the top turnbuckle. Orton with a superplex to Mahal off the top. Orton with a snap powerslam on Mahal. Orton with a modified fallaway slam. Orton with his side backbreaker as Mahal rolls to the ring apron. Orton with his DDT off the ropes on Mahal. Orton is slapping his shoulder to fire himself up. Orton is ready for an RKO when Mahal rolls out. Orton rolls out and gets behind The Singh Brothers at ringside. Orton slaps one and tosses them both into the barricade and ring. Mahal sends Orton shoulder first into the steel ring post twice at ringside. Mahal tosses Orton back inside. RKO out of no where! The Singh Brothers pull Mahal out of the ring in front of the referee. Orton tosses one brother over the table and back suplexes another over the table. Orton with another back suplex and one of the Singh Brothers lands hard! Orton brings one of the brothers to the ring, the other follows and Orton hits a double DDT off the ropes. Back inside, Mahal with his Cobra Clutch slam on Orton. Mahal pins Orton! Mahal wins!

~ Jason Jordan is down in the ring. Chad Gable, I know that wasn’t you two nights ago at Roadblock. We have had built up frustration over the months. We were dominant in NXT, former tag team champions. We were called up, and they had nothing for us up here, they wouldn’t let us speak, they wouldn’t let us go. We randomly won the Smackdown Tag Team Championships, and then lost them, AND THEN we were put away for a long time until you started to wrestle in singles action, before we decided to attack the Fashion Police getting back in the picture…but lost again. That boil in your blood finally exploded, and I was there for you to take it out on, we aren’t over man, come on out.
Chad Gable comes out, and enters the ring.
Chad Gable: Jason, we were never best friends, you know that. We were put together, and we became good friends. Very good friends at that, but something had to give. I am ready to move on if we aren’t going anywhere…it really isn’t anything personal, and you explained it very well, I was just done.
Jason Jordan: Now give me a second, Chad, what if I told you that I have a tag team match for us tonight? Now if we lose we can split, no big deal. Now if we win…we are Tag Team Champions!
Chad Gable: What are you talking about, Jason?
Jason Jordan: We have a Tag Team Championship Match, and it is next!
Smackdown live Tag Team Championship Match:
The Fashion Police (c) vs. American Alpha
Before the match, The Fashion Police attacked American Alpha. The referee breaks it up.
We start with Fandango and Jason Jordan. Fandango dumps Jordan over the top rope, tags in Tyler Breeze and The Fashion Police hit a double kick to Jordan. Tag back to Fandango as Jordan gets a tag to Chad Gable. Gable sends Breeze over the top rope. Jordan has Fandango up in an electric chair. Gable jumps off the top turnbuckle and catches Fandango for the win! They did it!

IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ Dolph Ziggler makes his way out to the ring, and he says that he is the first Smackdown Live Superstar to enter the 2018 Royal Rumble Match! He then says he is going to defeat the former WWE Champion, Baron Corbin to make his stock increase.
ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin
Ziggler with rights to Corbin early. Corbin blocks an early superkick attempt, eats more rights from Ziggler and avoids a standing dropkick. Corbin with stomps to Ziggler against the ropes. Corbin with a knee to Ziggler and then applies pressure on his head on the bottom rope with his boot. Corbin irish whips Ziggler to the other corner with force. Corbin cuts off a Ziggler comeback with a big back elbow. Corbin applies more pressure to the head of Ziggler in the corner using his boot. Corbin chokes Ziggler over the top rope from the ring apron. Corbin knocks Ziggler off the ring apron and rolls out. Corbin tosses Ziggler into the lower back of the ring apron and then tosses him back inside. Ziggler catches Corbin with a dropkick. Corbin rolls out with frustration as we head to a break.
- Commercial Break –
We return live as Corbin is standing on the head of Ziggler inside the ring. Corbin is pulling back on the left arm of Ziggler. During the break, Corbin caught Ziggler with a clothesline on the outside. Corbin catches Ziggler with a big right hand when Ziggler tries to springboard off the corner. Corbin gets a two count off a pinfall attempt. Ziggler throws elbows and right hands to fight off Corbin. Ziggler with a splash in the corner, swinging neckbreaker and jumping elbow combo over Corbin for a two count. Corbin levels Ziggler with another clothesline, hooks the leg and Ziggler kicks out. Corbin pushes Ziggler to the corner. Ziggler side steps Corbin sending him shoulder first into the corner. Ziggler catches Corbin with a Fameasser and Corbin kicks out. Corbin fights off a jumping DDT by Ziggler, but Ziggler counters and catches Corbin with a Zig Zag out of nowhere. Corbin kicks out. Ziggler can’t believe it. Corbin catches Ziggler with End of Days and gets the pinfall.

~ Becky Lynch comes out, and says that she wants a rematch against Carmella for the Smackdown Live Women’s Championship, and she wants it now! Carmella makes her way out with James Ellsworth, and she says that Becky doesn’t deserve to have another Championship match against her. Shane McMahon then comes out, and he announces a very special announcement. First, it will be Becky Lynch versus Carmella in a no-count out, no disqualification match at the Royal Rumble! And James Ellsworth is banned from ringside, and if he comes out that the belt will change hands! Shane’s second announcement is that for the first time ever, there will be a Women’s Royal Rumble! There will be twenty competitors in the match.

ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens
Sami Zayn competed in two matches the other night at Roadblock, and now here he is taking on Kevin Owens in a one on one encounter. Mike Kanellis along with Maria come out to watch the match.
Zayn unleashed his fury, pummeling Owens in the corner until he was dropped face first on the turnbuckle and clobbered by two huge Owens clotheslines. Every time it looked like Sami was about to battle back, either in the ring or on the floor, Owens pounded him back into the canvas with a sadistic smile. Sami Zayn finally showed signs of life, hitting Owens with a clothesline of his own and sending him to the floor. Zayn gave Owens a taste of his own medicine, slamming him into the steel ring steps before hitting a Blue Thunder Bomb back in the ring. Owens stopped Zayn in his tracks with a superkick and hurling his full body weight at Zayn for a cannonball in the corner. Owens surprised the Universe when he climbed the ropes and went for a top rope senton, but he landed across the knees of Zayn. Zayn attempted the Helluva Kick, but Owens scrambled to ringside, where Zayn met him with a springboard moonsault. However, Zayn hit his head on the steel ramp, dazing the undergrounder. Zayn had trouble keeping his footing back in the ring and walked into Owens’ pop-up powerbomb, though he had the wherewithal to kick out. Owens saw red and pounced on his longtime friend, punching him repeatedly until the referee pulled him off. With WWE medical staff watching closely, Owens viciously powerbombed Zayn into the canvas four more times. At the urging of the doctors, the official finally put a stop to the carnage and the match, declaring Owens the victor! Kevin Owens looks at Mike and Maria, and tells them to not dare to enter the ring.

AJ Styles vs. Luke Harper
Harper shoves Styles to the corner. Harper poses for the crowd. Harper grabs Styles by the leg. Harper places Styles on the top rope. Styles applies a side headlock. Harper goes for a back suplex, but Styles gets back on his feet. Styles leapfrogs over Harper. Harper dropkicks Styles. Styles rolls out of the ring. Harper launches Styles back first to the barricade. Harper bounces Styles head on the steel ring step and the announcers table. Styles with a leaping roundhouse kick to the leg of Harper. Styles follows that up with the Pele Kick. Style comes back into the ring and stomps on the back of Harper. Styles lands a forearm smash. Harper shoves Styles to the other side of the ring.
Harper with a right hand to the jaw of Styles. Styles with a roll through, but Harper drops him with a big right hand. Harper connects with a slingshot senton. Harper follows that up with a big boot for a two count. Harper catapults Styles throat to the second rope. Styles tumbles to the outside. Harper connects with the suicide dive. Harper rolls Styles back into the ring. Harper goes for a sit-out powerbomb, but Styles counters with a hurricanrana. Styles lights up Harper with the Phenomenal Blitz.
AJ Styles is in shock! Wait…Baron Corbin is coming out on the stage! It was a trick! AJ Styles turns around into a Discus Clothesline! 1-2-3!
