Corey Graves: Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw, the better brand! We have some huge action taking place!

Michael Cole: We have The Golden Age defending his Intercontinental Championship, Universal Champion, Braun Strowman in action, and a tag team match to determine the number one contender's for The Revival Title's!



IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ Goldust is in the ring in his director chair. "Schwwmmmmmm-MA! The Golden Age is BACK-haaaaaaaa-ssssssss. Goldust is going to shatter someone's dreams as I am defending my Intercontinental Title, NEXT!







ONE ON ONE MATCH - Intercontinental Championship:
Goldust (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
The bell rings and Hardy charges at Goldust exploding on him in the corner with punches and kicks. Hardy sends Goldust face first into the opposite corner with force. A loud “DELETE” chant starts up. Hardy with a jumping takedown on Goldust after Goldust hit the ropes. Hardy sends Goldust into the ropes again and Goldust holds on bailing to the outside. Hardy follows, Goldust is back in, Hardy grabs a steel chair, jumps up on the ring apron and Goldust kicks him in the head causing Hardy to drop the steel chair. Goldust pulls Hardy back in and hits a big right hand. Hardy with a float over and clothesline to Goldust in the corner. Hardy with a dropkick to the back of Goldust, hooks the leg and Goldust kicks out quickly. Hardy with a scoop slam on Goldust. Goldust fights back with some shots of his own. Goldust sends Hardy into the ropes, Hardy slides out, Goldust slides out as well, Hardy gets back in and dropkicks Goldust through the ropes. Goldust is back up, Hardy attempts a dive, Goldust moves, Hardy lands on the ring apron, Hardy then jumps off the ring apron and takes out Goldust. Hardy sends Goldust in the ring, Goldust counters with an uppercut from his knees, but Jeff then connects with a Twist of Fate out of nowhere!

TAG TEAM MATCH:
The Revival vs. Local Talents
Dash will start the match against Fernando. They lock up, and Dash pushes him to the corner. Fernando ducks and chops him a few times before wrenching the arm and chopping him some more. Dash comes back with a kick, misses a big boot, and he eats a dropkick. Fernando has a whip to the corner reversed, and he boots Wilder in the face. Fernando goes for a cross-body block, but Dash catches him and powerslams him down. Scott Dawson is tagged in, and he kicks away at Fernando. Fernando punches back, but Scott takes him down by the arm. Dawson shimmies around him before kneeing him in the face. Wilder is tagged back in, and he whips Dawson into Fernando. Shatter Machine!

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT:
~ Gary Phelps is backstage with the three members of The Shield. Gary asks Roman and Seth if they are prepared for their number one contender's match tonight. Roman says they are ready for a war, not a match, and Seth chimes in and says that everyone better believe this is a second chance for all three of them. Dean Ambrose then starts to speak, but the Balor Club show up. Finn Balor says that his boys are going to defeat Reigns and Rollins tonight, and in a few weeks it will be Finn Balor that wins the Royal Rumble Match! The Shield laugh them off, and say they will see who the better unit is later tonight.




ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Enzo Amore vs. HoHo Lun
This is Enzo Amore's singles debut, and also HoHo Lun's main roster debut. Enzo takes the fight to Lun early, but Lun manages to weather the early storm. Lun unloads on Enzo in the corner. HoHo with a half nelson neck vise, then slams Enzo down. Fallaway slam by Lun, then he taunts the crowd. Avalanche in the corner by Lun, but Enzo slumps down to avoid another. Enzo fights back, and is getting the crowd pumped up! Lun comes in charging, but is met with a catch stunner by Enzo! New Jersey Smasher (Code-Breaker) for the win!

Enzo Amore: There you have it. Enzo Amore is a certified G, and a bonafide stud. HoHo Lun was nothing for this muffin full of studs, and you can't teach that! I don't care who it is, whether it be Mysterio or it be Neville, but this man right here will hold Cruiserweight GOLD baby!




IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ Miz TV with guests Titus Worldwide. Miz opens up with how did it feel that Apollo Crews lost to Bo Dallas. Apollo Crews was about to speak up, but Titus intervened. Titus said they didn't need this, and that Miz is very unprofessional, unlike him and his brand. The Miz then says how is he the unprofessional one? He isn't one that put his hands on Vince McMahon, and got suspended...Mr. Dad of the year. He wasn't the one that broke up a popular tag team...TWICE! Miz planted Morrison because they got split up regardless, and he had to make a mark...it was nothing personal. The Miz then says he has a proposition for Titus Worldwide. Next week it will be The Miz versus Titus O'Neil, and the winner gets to be in the Royal Rumble Match, and yes Titus can pick between his clients, or himself, to enter the Rumble. Titus says The Miz is on.




ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Braun Strowman vs. The Big Show
The bell rings, and they stand across the ring and stare at one another. Big Show approaches him, and we see the size difference. Strowman looks up at his opponent. They lock up and push each other off. The crowd fires up a “This is awesome” chant. They lock up, and Big Show wrenches the arm. Strowman rolls through it and kips up! Strowman then powers him to the corner. Strowman releases him and says he’s the giant now. Big Show knocks him down. Strowman quickly pops up and applies a side headlock before taking him down. Big Show fights up and whips him off, but Strowman viciously clotheslines him down. Strowman shoulders him in the corner before connecting with an avalanche. Strowman then big boots him down. Strowman kicks away at him before punching away at him in the corner. Strowman goes for another avalanche, but Big Show grabs him by the throat. Strowman counters with a DDT for a near fall. Strowman lays him out with a vicious right hand before choking him on the ropes. Big Show tries to catch his breath before Strowman avalanches him in the corner. Strowman punches away at him before clubbing the back. Big Show reverses a whip, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Strowman then clotheslines him down again for a near fall. Strowman goes for a suplex, but Big Show blocks it. Big Show tries for one, but he can’t get Strowman up. Big Show finally takes him down with a suplex.

Both men are down. Big Show pulls himself up. Strowman just gets up. Strowman runs into a boot. Big Show boots him a second time and punches him before sending him to the corner for an avalanche. Big Show then hits the ropes and takes him down with a diving shoulder block. Big Show signals for a chokeslam and connects with it, but Strowman kicks out! Big Show tries to climb the ropes, but Strowman knocks him off. Strowman scoops him up for a powerslam, but Big Show slides off and sends him to the corner. Big Show props him up on the top rope and chops the chest. Big Show tries for a superplex, but Strowman fights him off. Strowman dives off the second rope into a Knockout Punch for a near fall! Big Show cannot believe this. Big Show goes to the second rope for a splash, but Strowman gets under him. Strowman then deadlifts Big Show up for a Powerslam, but Big Show kicks out! Strowman punches the mat in frustration. The crowd correctly starts chanting, “This is awesome!” Strowman takes down his straps. Big Show goes for a Chokeslam, but Strowman just pushes his hand to the side. Strowman then hits a second Powerslam for the win!

~ Samoa Joe's music immediately hits, and he immediately starts punching Strowman. Joe hits a gut super kick but Strowman doesn’t go down. Joe then hits a running dropkick, and Strowman falls to his backside. Joe goes for a Uranage but Strowman elbows him! Strowman then Powerslams Joe and walks off.






BACKSTAGE SEGMENT:
~ Rey Mysterio is being interviewed, and he says how happy he is to be back in the WWE. He is excited to bring some excitement back to the Cruiserweight Division, and to all of the rest of the roster once he puts Neville back in his place. Neville then shows up, and says that he needs to be put back into a place? Neville says he is the most dominant Cruiserweight in history, and someone like Rey Mysterio does not even come close to his level. Maybe 12 years ago they would have had some great matches, but old man Mysterio won't be the solution to end Neville's dominance.




ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James
Before the match could even start, Nia Jax is in the ring and dominating both women! Samoan drops for both women! A loud buzzer comes throughout the arena. Nia looks up to the Titantron, and it says the following: "Nia Jax, next week you will meet your opponent for the Royal Rumble PPV. It is someone you have never matched up before with, and you will wish you never have. See you next week."




TAG TEAM MATCH - Number One Contender's:
The Shield w/Dean Ambrose vs. The Balor Club w/Finn Balor
We start with Seth Rollins and Karl Anderson with big kicks and a high back body drop on Rollins. Rollins bails. Anderson with a dropkick to Roman Reigns when he hits the ring. Tag to Luke Gallows who lights up Reigns with a series of right hands and quick uppercuts. We get a stare down between the Balor Club and The Shield at ringside before everyone regroups back in the ring. Luke Gallows with big rights to Reigns and a big clothesline. Tag to Karl as they hit a double gut shot. Reigns with a big knee to Anderson. Tag to Rollins who chokes Karl with his boot. Karl catches Rollins with a big knee to the head and stomps over him in the corner. Rollins drops Anderson face first in the corner. Reigns gets the tag and takes out Karl with a big shoulder tackle. Tag back to Rollins. Reigns holds Karl’s arms back and Rollins drops down with a big right. Rollins with a quick neckbreaker and two count on Anderson. Karl attempts to fight back in the corner and gets cut off by Rollins propping him up on the top turnbuckle. Karl is falling back in the tree of woe and Rollins connects with kicks to the gut. Karl gets a boot to the jaw on Rollins and knocks Reigns off the ring apron. Anderson connects with a huge moonsault over Rollins. Hot tag to Luke Gallows. Clothesline and rights to Reigns followed by his vintage boot. Gallows with an atomic drop, boot to the leg and then drops rights to Reigns in the corner. Reigns misses a shot in the corner, Gallows goes up top and connects with a double axe for a close two count on Reigns.

Gallows crashes and burns sliding out of the ring under the bottom rope when Reigns counters as he comes off the ropes. Rollins grabs Luke at ringside and tosses him back first into the ring barricade. The referee starts a count. Gallows hits the ring right at the 9 count and kicks out after a pinfall attempt by Rollins right away. Reigns keeps Gallows grounded with a headlock. Reigns with a big clothesline on Gallows. Tag to Rollins who keeps Gallows grounded. Tag to Reigns who cuts off Gallows from getting a tag to Karl. Rollins tags himself in and Gallows catches him with a quick powerslam off the ropes. Hot tag to Anderson who connects with a springboard dropkick to Rollins and knocks Reigns off the ring apron. Karl with a low blow kick and Alabama Slam on Rollins. Karl catches Reigns with a knee when he tries jumping in, covers Rollins and gets a very close two count. Rollins with an elbow to Anderson in the corner. Anderson with a Muscle Buster on Rollins. Karl hooks the leg. Reigns breaks it up. Gallows is in attacking Reigns. Reigns catches Gallows with a big heart punch/clothesline combo. Karl connects with his kick to the head on Reigns and tosses him out. Finn Balor also takes out Ambrose! Gallows is back in the ring! MAGIC KILLER ON ROLLINS!

IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ The United States Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, makes his way down to the ring...but noticeably does not have the Championship with him. He enters the ring, and grabs a microphone. Shinsuke Nakamura says that he has seen this happen with many companies, but it is something he wants to stop. Shinsuke Nakamura is not an American, he does not want to hold the United States Championship...he wants to hold the WWE World Championship. Now he knows that was a name of a former beloved belt, but he wants to bring back that name for a new belt to add some prestige for it. Shinsuke unveils a new title. It is all white, and has a red dot in the middle of it in the style of what the United States Championship was. Shinsuke says that he has gotten permission to make a little change to the company, and to this title. Shinsuke explains that whoever has the WWE World Championship gets to defend their countries honor, and the title will represent where they are from. As for Shinsuke, his represents Japan...and...


Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers interrupt Nakamura. Mahal says that he loves the idea of this new Championship, and can't wait to add orange, white, and green to it! He says that at the Royal Rumble there needs to be some special stipulation. He says that both men get to pick one, and they can sign the contract next week. Shinsuke Nakamura asked what Mahal had in mind. Jinder responded with if he, Jinder Mahal, defeated Shinsuke Nakamura at the Royal Rumble for the WWE World Championship that Nakamura will never get a Championship opportunity while Mahal is Champion. Shinsuke Nakamura agreed to this, and added quickly that his stipulation is that it will be a street fight! Jindr Mahal laughs at Nakamura, and tells him he will see Shinsuke next week for the contract signing.




TAG TEAM MATCH:
The Fashion Police vs. The Ascension
We start with Tyler Breeze and Viktor. Breeze with rights and an elbow to Konnor in the corner. Fandango is in to even things up with Konnor gets involved. Viktor with a high knee to Breeze as Konnor gets the tag. Konnor with a few shots and quick tag back to Viktor who keeps Breeze grounded and gets in a few stomps. Konnor drops an elbow and applies a headlock on Breeze. Konnor clotheslines Breeze over the top rope. Fandango is in with a shot to Viktor and chops to Konnor. Fandango apparently got the tag. Fandango with a spin kick off the ropes catching Konnor. Konnor plants Fandango with a big spinebuster. Viktor gets the tag. Viktor stomps over Fandango. He calls for Konnor to get up on the top turnbuckle. Breeze knocks Konnor off the top rope. Fandango rolls up Viktor for the win.

IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ Baron Corbin makes his way down to the ring. He says that last week he made Ziggler look like a punk, and he made AJ Styles look like a little bitch! Baron Corbin says he will win back his WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble if is the last thing he does. AJ Styles then makes his way out to a huge ovation. AJ Styles tells Corbin to hold on a second, and say what he just said again. He used CM Punk's theme song to trick AJ Styles for Luke Harper to pick up the victory, and then for Baron Corbin to come pick apart a downed Styles. So if anyone is a bitch in this ring, it definitely isn't AJ Styles! Luke Harper now makes his way down to the ring, and just stares into the soul of AJ Styles until Dolph Ziggler's music hits to come down to the ring, but before he could speak Kevin Owens' music now hits. Ladies, ladies, ladies. It is cute what is going on here. Baron Corbin wants his title back that he won via the cheapest way possible with the Money in the Bank. Luke Harper had assistance in his victory last week, but I assume he is down here because he wants the WWE Championship. God knows why Dolph is here, but I am here because AJ Styles is just keeping that title warm for me, and for our spot in the Main Event of WrestleMania! Sami Zayn then comes rushing from the crowd, and takes down Kevin Owens which leads to a massive brawl in the ring!

Daniel Bryan comes out sending security down the ramp to try, and break this all up! Bryan declares we will have a six-men tag team match for the main event tonight. It will be; AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and Dolph Ziggler versus Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, and Luke Harper!




ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Aiden English vs. Tye Dillinger
Dillinger trips up English early and fires up the crowd with “10” chants. English with body shots and kicks to Dillinger in the corner. English splashes Dillinger in the corner. Dillinger with chops. Dillinger with a takedown on English off the ropes. Dillinger with kicks to English as the crowd chants “10” along. Dillinger exposes the knee and connects with a backbreaker on English to get the pinfall win.

Natalya with a surfboard submission on Charlotte, breaks the hold and sends Charlotte face first into the second turnbuckle in the corner. Charlotte catches Natalya with chops, drops a knee over the jaw of Natalya and gets in a Flair strut. Charlotte plants Natalya and connects with a moonsault off the top rope resulting in a two count. Charlotte pulls Natalya down by her hair in the corner, goes back up top, but Natalya counters with a sitdown powerbomb for a close two count. Charlotte levels Natalya with a big boot and Natalya kicks out. Charlotte with a kick and connects with Natural Selection to get the pinfall.

~ Becky Lynch comes from the crowd, and attacks Carmella! Carmella flees through the crowd, but Lynch grabs Ellsworth! The crowd is chanting in full force Yes! Chants now! Exploder Suplex through the announce table! Becky Lynch is staring Charlotte Flair eye to eye as we head to commercial.



~ We have gotten confirmation that both, Charlotte Flair and Natalya will be in the first ever Women's Royal Rumble Match.





SIX-MEN TAG TEAM MATCH:
AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, & Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, & Luke Harper
Back live, we start with Luke Harper and Dolph Ziggler. Dolph with a snapmare and drops a knee over Harper. Luke with a big uppercut and dropkick combo to Ziggler. Tag to Kevin Owens who throws forearms to the back of Ziggler. Baron Corbin tags himself in and throws a right and knees to the ribs of Dolph. Tag to Harper who kicks away at Zigglerin the corner and follows with a snapmare into a headlock. Tag to AJ Styles who lights up Harper with chops and a jumping forearm off the ropes. Styles drops Luke off his knee and knocks Owens off the corner. Styles with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker to Harper and Owens breaks it up. Sami Zayn is in going after Owens. Zayn tosses Owens out of the ring, hits the ropes and takes out Owens with a dive. Harper counters a Styles Clash attempt into a spike DDT for a two count. Tag to Zayn who takes a Deep Six from Corbin.

- Commercial Break -

We return as Harper drops Zayn and tags Owens back in who stomps over Zayn. Zayn gets his knees up when Owens attempts a splash. Owens pulls Zayn back in for a quick DDT. Owens immediately goes back to a headlock, drags Zayn and tags in Corbin. Zayn with elbows to Corbin in the corner. Corbin levels Zayn catching him with running charge returning to the ring. Zayn with a Blue Thunder Bomb on Owens. Corbin cuts off Zayn from tagging out and throws him into Ziggler who goes flying off the corner. Corbin splashes Zayn in the corner. Zayn levels Corbin with a big clothesline. Zayn tosses Ziggler and Owens out. Zayn pulls the top rope down and sends Corbin flying over. Styles and Ziggler are pulled off the corner by Harper and Owens. Styles fights off Owens with right hands and kicks. Styles with an elbow to Corbin. Zayn with the Helluva Kick to Corbin and gets the pinfall!

Michale Cole: Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw! We are only thirteen (13) days away from our first Pay-Per-View of 2018, the Royal Rumble!


Corey Graves: That is correct, Michael, and we have maybe the most star-studded Rumbles of all time in store for everyone with the return of CM Punk! Also we will be seeing the first ever 20-Women Royal Rumble Match as well!


Michael Cole: We also have some amazing action here tonight in store for you all! We have the return to in-ring competition for Rey Mysterio, we have the Intercontinental rematch between Jeff Hardy and Goldust, as well as The Miz taking on Titus O'Neil to see who gets to enter the Royal Rumble Match!


Corey Graves: That isn't all, Michael! We also have an amazing main event planned that is Samoa Joe taking on Seth Rollins in an one-on-one match!


Michael Cole: Hold on a second! I am getting word we have two huge announcements planned to open the show! The first being that the WWE Universal Champion, Braun Strowman, will NOT be here tonight as he is working on a little elbow soreness, and...









CM Punk: Sounds like you have missed me! *laughs* Well, truth be told I have missed you all just as much. I have mainly come back tonight to say one thing. I'm sorry. I am sorry that I left you all. I am sorry I did it with no warning...but most importantly, I am sorry I left you with what I left you with. A grapefruit missing son-in-law, a backstabbing daughter, a senile old man who did not even know who AJ Styles was - I can confirm that is very true. Although, Shane is back...that's cool. However, I am now BACK! *Crowd pop* I am to quote, "Better than ever, I'm back."









Finn Balor: Nice to see you finally show your face, Punk. I am sure you know exactly who I am. I am the Demon King, the leader of the Balor Clu...


CM Punk: I know exactly who you were, Prince. However, I have heard rumblings you haven't been the biggest supporter of me coming back to the WWE, and entering my name in the Royal Rumble Match since you seem to think this is the year of the Balor Club. Well, kiddo, it isn't. This is going to be the YEAR of CM Punk!









Roman Reigns: Look boys, it is the man who hired us to take out Ryback.



Seth Rollins: Also the man who initially attempted to split us as a unit.


Dean Ambrose: As well as the man who took his ball, and ran home when he didn't get what he wanted. CM Punk you are not very welcomed around these parts. This is our yard again, and well it has been since we debuted back in 2012.


Roman Reigns: And you better Believe THAT!



CM Punk: Okay everyone, hold your horses. All of us, except for the bald stooges, are in the Royal Rumble Match in, I believe, thirteen days. I am going to wait to kick some *** until then, but if you guys don't move out of my way I will gladly start kicking *** right here, right now!










Stephanie McMahon: Monday Night Raw! You haven't seen me in a long, long time - how are you all enjoying seeing The Shield, The Balor Club, and CM Punk in the same ring!? Well, this won't be the last time, and the Roya Rumble Match won't be the next. CM Punk - you are technically a Free Agent right now, but I think everyone would LOVE to see you in action. So I have a proposition for you. Next week it will be CM Punk versus Finn Balor for the first time ever! I do have a stipulation, however, the loser will enter the Royal Rumble Match as number one!



CM Punk: See you next week, Steph.

ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Rey Mysterio vs. Davari
Rey hits a tilt-a-whirl that sends Davari into the second rope. Rey looks for an early 619 but Davari rolls out of the ring. Rey jumps off the apron with a seated senton. Rey climbs to the top rope and again hits a seated senton. Rey kicks Davari in the back of the head and then goes for a cover. Davari kicks out. Davari slams Rey down and then punches him repeatedly. Davari hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and then goes for the cover. Rey moves out of the way of a charge so Davari hits the steel post. Rey connects with a tilt-a-whirl that sets Davari up for the 619. Rey’s swing connects. Rey climbs up to the top rope. Frog-Splash!

~ Neville comes on out and he, and Mysterio exchange a stare down. Neville then proceeds to speak.


Neville: Impressive victory, Rey. But could you do it against someone that anyone gives a damn about? Davari is so low on the totem pole, that we have never shared a ring before. So, old man, you better bring your A game at the Rumble, but for sneak peak purposes I will show you what I am all about next week.





BACKSTAGE SEGMENT:
~ Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are trying to talk up Finn Balor about his match against CM Punk next week. Then, the Raw Tag Team Champions, The Revival, enter the picture. The Revival say that they are the best tag team on Raw, Smackdown, NXT, hell even in Japan. The Balor Club retaliates saying that The Revival couldn't last a week over in the Tokyo Dome, or even the amazing atmosphere of it all. The Revival smirks and leave, as The Balor Club are even more on edge.




ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Nia Jax vs. Mickie James
We start the match to see Nia Jax attacking James. Jax comes off the ropes and slams Mickie before running the ropes again, and connecting with a leg-drop for a two. Jax then slams James onto mat. Jax covers James for a two count. Jax rag dolls her around with a sleeper hold. Jax throws James down and continues to dominate her. James kicks out of the pin and clubs away at Jax. Jax grabs her by the throat and lifts her up into a huge Samoan drop!

Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Goldust
They go to lock up but Goldust goes for a single leg but Hardy is able to club him off. Hardy bounces Goldust's head off the top turnbuckle and kicks him a few times. Hardy brings him to the other corner and bounces his head off the turnbuckle again before whipping him hard into the opposite corner. Hardy stomps Goldust a few times before picking him up and hitting a body slam. Hardy drops a knee on his back and a forearm for a one count.

Hardy goes for a suplex but Goldust knees him in the midsection before elbowing him in the back of the neck. Goldust kicks him in the ribs and takes some time before hitting some more forearms. They're taking this very slow so far, selling the injuries. Goldust chokes Hardy on the top rope and releases it before he’s disqualified. Goldust stomps Hardy a few more times before whipping him into the corner. Goldust charges for a corner Spear but Hardy moves and Goldust hits the ring post shoulder first. Side-Affect! Jeff Hardy heads to the top rope, Swanton Bomb!

He also can't wait for the Royal Rumble Match as he is going to win the match for the first time and go on to main event his second WrestleMania and become the NEW WWE Universal Champion!




ONE ON ONE MATCH - WINNER GETS TO BE IN THE ROYAL RUMBLE:
The Miz w/Maryse & Miztourage vs. Titus O'Neil w/Titus Worldwide
They circle the ring and lock up. O’Neil powers him to the corner and punches him down. O’Neil sends him into the ropes, but Miz ducks a pair of clotheslines, hangs on to the ropes, and taunts O’Neil. O’Neil charges him, but Miz pulls the top rope down to get him out of the ring. O’Neil quickly gets back in the ring, and Miz gets out. O’Neil gets out, and Miz gets back in. Crews mentions to O’Neil that Miz is quicker than him. O’Neil gets into the ring, and he eats a left hand. O’Neil quickly gets the advantage by punching him in the corner and slamming him down. O’Neil picks him up before hitting a pair of backbreakers before tossing him aside for a two count. O’Neil whips him hard into the corner and hits an avalanche. O’Neil clubs him down. O’Neil then runs into Miz’s boots. Skull Crushing Finale!

They take their time before locking up. Joe powers him to the corner, but Rollins quickly fights out with a chop. Joe is down at ringside. Rollins wipes him out with a suicide dive. Rollins gets back in the ring and hits a second suicide dive. Rollins gets him in the ring, but Joe quickly grabs the leg as he comes in and snaps it off the ropes. Rollins hobbles at ringside, and Joe takes him out with a suicide dive. Joe gets him in the ring and peppers him with kicks. Rollins tries to fight back, but Joe sweeps the feet and plants him on his face. Joe stands on the leg and hits a senton splash on the knee. Rollins grabs his leg in pain. Joe chops the chest a few times, but Rollins chops him back. Joe reverses a whip to the corner and hits a running back elbow followed by a pelé kick for a near fall. Joe jabs away at him, but Rollins pulls him into the turnbuckles. Rollins goes for a clothesline, but Joe doesn’t go down. Rollins ducks a clothesline and kicks him in the throat. Rollins puts him in the corner and hits a pair of running forearms. Rollins follows up with a neckbreaker before going to the top rope. Rollins dives, but Joe catches him and hits a sit-out knee breaker. Joe applies a knee bar, but Rollins claws his way to the bottom rope. Joe continues to attack, but Rollins flips to his feet. Rollins’ knee gives out. Joe hits him with a scary powerbomb, but Rollins kicks out. Joe quickly transitions to a single leg crab, but Rollins gets to the bottom rope. Joe digs his boot into his face in the corner. Joe hits the ropes, but Rollins attacks him. Rollins elbows him back and hits a Sling Blade. The Balor Club ambush Reigns and Ambrose, and the five men go on to fight in the crowd leaving Rollins and Joe alone. Rollins chops away at him and boots him back. Rollins hits a blockbuster for a two count. Joe comes back and takes him down before going for a senton on the leg, but Rollins moves. Rollins superkicks him for a near fall. Rollins goes for a powerbomb out of the corner, but his leg collapses. Rollins hits a sit-out falcon’s arrow for a near fall. Rollins follows up with a frog splash, and he clutches his injured knee. Rollins then covers for a near fall. Joe starts to punch back at him, and they trade blows. Rollins then takes him down with a step-up enzuigiri. Corbin claps sarcastically at Zayn. Zayn catches Corbin with a dropkick sending him out of the ring. On the outside, Corbin irish whips Zayn to the barricade and Zayn catches him with a springboard moonsault off the barricade! Back inside, Corbin launches Zayn to the corner. Corbin catches Zayn in a bear hug. Zayn breaks free, but Corbin catches him with another bear hug. Zayn pulls down the top rope and Corbin goes flying over. Corbin plants Zayn with a big spinebuster and gets a two count. Zayn with big clotheslines to Corbin. Zayn with an elbow, boot and catches Corbin with a cross body for another two count. Corbin slides out near the corner and drops Zayn with a quick clothesline. Corbin goes to work on the lower back of Zayn. Corbin catches Zayn with a big backbreaker over his knee and Zayn kicks out. Zayn fights off Corbin up on the top turnbuckle and connects with a sunset flip powerbomb for another close two count. Corbin counters a corner DDT attempt. American Alpha vs. The Usos
We start with Jason Jordan and Jey Uso. Jordan with a quick takedown on Jey. Chad Gable tags himself in and they hit a double suplex into a bridge on Jey for a two count. Jey pushes Gable to the corner and Jimmy Uso tags himself in. Jordan tags himself in, both trip up Jimmy and knock Jey off the corner. Double dropkick to Jimmy by Alpha. Gable and Jordan then toss Jimmy over the top rope and stare down Jey on the outside.

We are back live as Jey drops Jordan with a dropkick and tags in Jimmy. Jordan dumps Jimmy out and Jey hits the corner hard when Jordan moves. Jimmy pulls Jordan under the bottom rope, but Jordan kicks him away. Hot tag to Gable. Gable with clotheslines to both Usos. Gable with a german suplex on Jimmy. Gable with a second on Jimmy. Gable with an overhead suplex on Jey. Gable with one on Jimmy as well. Gable goes up top and connects with a moonsault over Jimmy for a close two count. Gable clotheslines Jimmy over the top rope and avoids a shot from Jey in the corner again. Gable with an armbar on Jey over the ropes. Jimmy breaks it up with a superkick on the outside. Jimmy goes up top attempting a splash and Gable gets his knees up transitioning into a small package for a close two count. Tag to Jordan who avoids a kick from Jimmy. Gable is up top, Jordan has Jimmy on his shoulders and Gable comes off the top with a bulldog. Jordan covers and Jey breaks it up. Gable is dumped out. Jey as well. Jordan is out next. The Usos hit the ropes, attempt dives to the outside and both Jordan and Gable catch them hitting exploders instead. Gable tosses Jimmy back in. Jordan charges him in the corner. Gable has the tag. Grand Amplitude!

Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper
Harper immediately big boots him down for a near fall. Harper then hits him with a sit-out powerbomb for another near fall. On commentary, Rollins can’t believe what he’s seeing. Harper puts Ziggler in the corner and whips him to the opposite side. Harper goes for a running big boot, but Ziggler sidesteps him. Harper crotches himself on the top rope and falls out of the ring.

- Commerical Break -

We come back from the break to see Harper slam Ziggler down by the hair. The referee is continually checking on Ziggler. Harper holds him up for a delayed vertical suplex before letting him down and giving him an uppercut for a near fall. During the commercial, Harper hit Ziggler with a guillotine catapult. Harper executes a gator roll before stopping and cinching in a chin lock. Ziggler eventually fights up and hits a jawbreaker. Harper charges him in the corner, but Ziggler sidesteps him, causing Harper to hit the ring post shoulder first. Ziggler quickly follows up with a famouser for a near fall. Harper blocks a superkick and hits a swinging sidewalk slam for a near fall. Harper throws his hands in the air and waits for Ziggler to get to his feet. Harper goes for a discus clothesline, but Ziggler superkicks him for a near fall. Harper knees Ziggler in the midsection and sets up for a powerbomb. Ziggler fights out, lands on his feet, but Harper catches him with a discus clothesline for the win!

~ Tyler Breeze and Fandango come on air, and are trying to find out where this disturbing smells are coming from. They then wonder around the arena, and find that the smell is coming from a locker-room. The locker-room of American Alpha! The Fashion Police head on into the room, and find a bag full of dirty jock-straps...why do they have a full bag full of these? Tyler Breeze and Fandango look at the camera and say that American Alpha are filthy animals, and need to never touch those prestigious titles again!




WWE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CONTRACT SIGNING:
~ Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan heads to the ring getting a big reaction.

Bryan introduces the challenger at the Royal Rumble, Jinder Mahal. Mahal takes a seat

Bryan then introduces “your World Champion”, Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura grabs a mic and talks about having a similar career like Daniel Bryan competed on the independent wrestling scene. He points at Jidner Mahal. “This guy right here, he’s not like us.” Nakamura talks about Mahal being a nobody and then coming back to a get a championship opportunity. Bryan understands where Shinsuke is coming from, but said Smackdown Live is on a roll and talks about beating RAW in the ratings. He credits Shinsuke headlining mid-card and Jinder Mahal's resurgence for that happening. Bryan said they have to give the fans the biggest match possible: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jinder Mahal. He said this is the match that everyone wants and this is the match “we are going to give them.” He wishes both men good luck and exits the ring heading to the back.

Nakamura points at Mahal and calls him the luckiest man on this planet. He said he was gifted a title match by a guy that is scared. Daniel Bryan is scared, because if he was still wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura would have retired him by now anyway. Shinsuke said Bryan is right and they have to do what is best for Smackdown and even what is best for Shinsuke Nakamura. He brings up the tables turning and how last year Mahal was the champion and that Shinsuke needed a win to prove he belonged in the WWE or he was an “overrated indy guy.” Nakamura tells Jinder if he can’t beat him then he doesn’t belong in the WWE. Shinsuke said Smackdown beat RAW in the ratings because he was champion, not Jinder. “Spoiler Alert: We can do it without you Jinder, we never needed someone like you to come back even with your lightning in the bottle performance” adds Shinsuke. Shinsuke cuts off Mahal from speaking. He brings up Jinder admitting he was wrong about being the face of India late last year as he couldn't draw nearly as much as the Great Khali. Shinsuke says Mahal told the truth and now it’s about him.

Shinsuke said Mahal has been great for WWE, but Jinder Mahal could never be the draw Shinsuke Nakamura is to the international market. Shinsuke said when it comes to this ring he will never be as good as Shinsuke Nakamura. He leans down and signs the contract for the Royal Rumble. Shinsuke takes off the World Championship around his waist. Mahal says being a man is being able to admit when you are wrong, but most importantly it is about sticking up for yourself. Jinder gets on his feet pushing his chair away. “You just made the biggest mistake of your life. You pissed off Jinder Mahal. And you are right: I actually do need a win to prove that I belong because of chumps like you.” Jinder said Shinsuke pushed him and allow him to push back. “I just lost all respect for you and think you are nothing but a punk little Kuthi.” He brings up all the people despising him thinking Nakamura was the man to take over, and be the big International draw. He tells Shinsuke he only goes where WWE tells him to go, while he shows real passion and won’t give up even when they tell him to stop. Jinder said he has true passion for this company and he had every opportunity to bail to Bollywood, but he is still here. Mahal starts pacing the ring. He talks about needing this match, Shinsuke needing this match and the fans needing this match. He tells Shinsuke that at the Royal Rumble, bring your family and friends, bring the noise, bring your A game and “I’m still going to kick your choot and take that championship. Why? Because I’m Jinder Mahal. And I am better than you!” Mahal leans down, signs the contract and slams the book shut. Shinsuke flips the table, and we have a stare-down to end the show.

Michael Cole: Welcome everyone to the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw for the first Pay-Per-View of 2018, the Royal Rumble!


Corey Graves: Tonight we get to see the much anticipated return of CM Punk! He will be taking on Finn Balor, and the loser will enter the Royal Rumble Match as the number one entrant!




IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ Samoa Joe is in the ring as we get Monday night Raw underway.



Samoa Joe: I have been waiting for this match for a long time now. I feel like I have been cheated from obtaining the Universal Championship, and that ends now. I have said, and have been granted the gimmick for this championship match, and I have decided Braun Strowman and I will go to war inside a steel cage for the Universal Championship!


"RAWWWWWWWWWWWW"



~ Braun Strowman makes his way down to the ring.


Braun Strowman: Joe! You and I will meet inside that steel cage, but I am going to throw you from wall to wall until you are unconscious! This is the final chapter to our little novel you have been so determined to make a sequel. I will destroy you!


Samoa Joe: Boy, you go nothing on me. I want you trapped in that cage with me so I can slowly show you what torture is like. I am going to rip skin off of your head, and make you bleed all over the mat. I am going to rap my bicep around your throat, and lock in my Coquina Clutch with the other, and as you try to gasp for air...you will pass out, and I will become the NEW WWE Universal Champion!

ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Neville vs. TJ Perkins
Early in the contest, Perkins wisely kept the incredibly agile and powerful Cruiserweight Champion grounded by focusing on his arm. However, Neville took control of the battle, relying on his incredible strength to knock Perkins from the ring. Following up with an incredible missile dropkick, The King of the Cruiserweights began to methodically dismantle his opponent.

Displaying the resilience that saw him conquer the Cruiserweight Classic, The Duke of Dab battled back and zeroed in on Neville’s arm. Perkins nearly claimed victory with a cross armbreaker, but The King of the Cruiserweights incredibly countered with a deadlift powerbomb.

TAG TEAM MATCH:
The Miztourage w/The Miz & Maryse vs. Akira Tozawa & Apollo Crews w/Titus O'Neil
Axel takes Akira and suplexes him. Dallas tags himself in, and he knees away at Akira before giving him a release suplex. Dallas and Axel taunt the crowd, and puts Akira in the corner before shouldering him. Axel blind tags in and has a face-off with Akira. Curtis counters a sunset flip by giving him a double stomp. Tozawa manages to fight back, and connects with a few German suplexes to Axel. Apollo Crews is now in this match, and so is Dallas! Crews connects with a few forearms and dropkicks, before dropping Dallas with a standing, leaping clothesline. Crews goes for a Cloverleaf, but Curtis nails him in the back, and takes out Tozawa! Dallas hits a quick Bo-Plex to Crews!

JoJo: Trish after so many years away...what has gotten into you with your huge return next week to save Mickie James from Nia Jax?


Trish Stratus: If I am being honest with you, I was going to return last summer to take on Asuka for the NXT Women's Championship...but I had myself a child instead *laughs* this time I have gotten back into shape, I have had my beautiful child, and I want the Raw Women's Championship! There will be no stopping me, I have overcome the odds before, and I want back in this division!



BATTLE ROYAL:
Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Scott Dawson vs. Dash Wilder vs. Luke Gallows vs. Karl Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Goldust vs. Cesaro vs. Sheamus vs. Elias Samson
We have a twelve-man battle royal here on Monday Night Raw. Unlike the Royal Rumble, here we have all the participants starting the match. The bell rings and the Battle Royal is underway. Elias Samson is the first one eliminated. Luke Gallows is eliminated. As Karl Anderson gets thrown out of the ring but is caught by Gallows. He throws Anderson back in the ring only to get thrown out and eliminated again by Reigns. Reigns then throws out Ambrose. Then Seth Rollins eliminates Reigns! The final five are Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Sheamus, Scott Dawson, and Dash Wilder.

Sheamus then Brogue Kicks Dawson out. Wilder now counters Cesaro who runs into Sheamus, and Sheamus goes over the top rope! Seth Rollins eliminates Dash Wilder. Seth Rollins and Cesaro are the last two. Cesaro goes for the Swiss Upercut, but he misses and goes over the top rope onto the apron. He tries to suplex Rollins over the top rope. Rollins with the Pele kick on Cesaro and Cesaro is eliminated!

ONE ON ONE MATCH - LOSER IS #1 IN THE ROYAL RUMBLE:
Finn Balor vs. CM Punk
The bell rings and Balor with a running dropkick on Punk right away. Punk rolls out to avoid a Coup de Grace and Balor leaps over the top rope taking him out. Back inside, Balor kicks out the legs of Punk repeatedly. Balor continues working over the leg of Punk. Punk trips up Balor on the ring apron and then gives Balor a suplex on the floor. Punk launches Balor over the barricade into the timekeeper area. Balor leaps off the barricade and takes out Punk with a flying forearm. Balor tosses Punk back inside and Punk cuts him off. Balor catches Punk with a dropkick to the face. Balor locks up the legs of Punk and stomps the knees of Punkinto the mat. Balor is on the ring apron, Punk slides under, gets Balor on his shoulders and then launches him at the ring barricade! Back inside, Punk with chops to Balor and gets in a few shots in the corner. Punk with a snapmare and kick to the back. Punk is keeping Balor grounded and starts choking him with a piece of his ring attire. Punk Irish whips Balor and catches Finn with a corner knee, followed by a clothesline. Punk goes back up top and connects with a Macho like elbow drop.

Balor plants Punk with a DDT. Balor with a flying forearm off the ropes taking out Punk. Balor with a dropokick sending Punk out. Balor catches Punk with a knee to the face hanging onto the ropes over the ring apron. Back inside, Balor with his sling blade takedown. Punk cuts off Balor with a dropkick. Balor counters a GTS attempt. Punk kicks Balor in the head and Balor responds with his overhead kick. Punk with a knee to Balor, but Balor plants Punk with Bloody Sunday! That only gets a two count. Balor misses a Coup de Grace. Punk has a triangle lock applied on Balor. Balor breaks free to force the break rolling out. Back inside, Punk connects with signature few clotheslines and a neckbreaker. Punk is yelling at Balor that this is his ring. Balor is firing up. Balor with body kicks, eats a knee from Punk, Punk with a small package driver and gets a close two count. Punk bails out, Balor chases and dropkicks Punk into the barricade. Balor tosses Punk in, Balor is caught by Punk! GO TO SLEEP!

Tom Phillips: Hello everyone, and welcome to Smackdown Live! The last before the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View!







Carmella: You've GOT to be kidding me. Are we heading back into a Diva's division here on Smackdown? The women were not on the show ONCE...ONCE last week. What is up with that? Becky and I have a title match this Sunday, and we were regulated to the post-show Dark Match. Seriously? We deserve so much better, and I demand so much better for my co-workers and myself!

Shane McMahon: Carmella you are totally correct with everything you have to say. This won't make up for last week, but tonight, right now we are going to get a taste of what the first ever Women's Royal Rumble is going to be like with a battle royal here right now!





BATTLE ROYAL:
Natalya vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Tamina vs. Maria Kanellis vs. Naomi
These women all match-up with each other, before they all team up and eliminate Tamina from the match. Charlotte matches up with Natalya - while Naomi and Maria match-up. Charlotte and Natalya see an opening, and both abandon their fighting and double clothesline Naomi over the top rope, while Maria ducked underneath! Maria grabs them both by their legs, and tosses them both over the top rope! Neither of them hit the mat, but Maria is celebrating as if she has won! Charlotte and Natty are back in the ring, and Maria turns around in complete disbelief! Charlotte and Natty share chops with Maria before Natty tosses Maria over the top rope, and Charlotte is close by, and tosses Natty over the top rope as well!

ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Dolph Ziggler
Before the match could even start, the Singh Brothers attack Shinsuke during his entrance! Shinsuke manages to fend them off, and toss them both off of the stage! He turns around into a huge Super Kick by Dolph Ziggler, and this match will not be taking place tonight. Jinder Mahal makes his way on out, and he shares a glare with Ziggler before Ziggler heads back in the curtain, and now Jinder is on the attack on Nakamura! Mahal leaves Shinsuke in a puddle of his blood on the ramp.




TAG TEAM MATCH:
Fashion Police vs. The Usos
We start with Fandango and Jimmy Uso. Fandango with a head scissors takedown early and then shakes his hips. Tag to Tyler Breeze who is wearing a mustache, bald cap, glasses and janitor outfit that he wore in the Fashion Files segment. Jimmy charges and Breeze avoids it. Breeze puts his mop in the face of Jimmy and Jey gets the tag. Jey with a big shot on Breeze and then cracks the mop over his knee. Jey is trying to hit a splash off two corners and Breeze keeps rolling slowly away. Breeze catches Jey with a jumping kick to the head. Tag to Fandango who connects with a shot over the top rope. Jey with a cheap shot on Breeze and tags in Jimmy. Jimmy with chops to Fandango. Fandango works over the left arm of Jimmy. Breeze is now back up in the corner dressed like an old lady in a dress. Breeze gets the tag. A loud “LET’S GO GRANDMA” chant breaks out in Chicago. Jimmy kicks away the cane and Breeze with a dropkick. Breeze with more dropkicks to Jey and Jimmy. Breeze with a Bronco Buster in the corner. Jey comes flying back with two big dropkicks. Jimmy gets the tag and splashes Breeze in the corner. Jimmy tosses the dress out and it hits JBL. They show a replay of this. Tags to Fandango and Jey. Fandango catches Jey with a spin kick. Fandango with chops to Jey in the corner. Fandango with a corner DDT on Jey. Jey kicks out. Tag to Jimmy. Jey with a backbreaker on Breeze and Jimmy comes off the top. Breeze kicks out. Jey tags himself back in and accidentally superkicks Jimmy. Breeze with an inverted DDT on Jey and Jey kicks out. Breeze is shocked. Usos dump Breeze into the barricade at ringside. Fandango flips over the top rope and takes out both Usos! Fandango rolls Jey in the ring, and is caught by a Super Model Kick!

ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Luke Harper vs. Sami Zayn
Big brawl breaks out when the bell rings. Harper tosses Zayn to the corner. Sami with rights to Luke. Harper works over Sami in the corner. Harper dumps Zayn out of the ring. They brawl on the outside for awhile before Harper sends Zayn back inside of the ring. Harper plants Zayn face first on the mat and follows with a big boot for a two count. Harper with big elbows to Sami in the corner and splashes back in over him. Harper with a sitdown driver on Sami for a two count.

- Commercial Break -

We come back from commercial to see Zayn and Harper on the outside, Zayn sends Harper into the steel steps. Sami avoids a corner shot by Luke and Harper goes right back in the steps and is out. Sami dives over the top rope and takes out Harper on the outside. Sami catches Harper again with a springboard moonsault off the ring apron. Sami with an exploder on Harper in the corner, but Luke no-sells and connects with a Discus Clothesline!

IN-RING SEGMENT:
~ AJ Styles makes his way down to the ring, but is met inside the ring by Baron Corbin who came exploding through the crowd! Corbin and Styles are in an all out war inside the ring! Baron goes for the End of Days, Styles counters, and goes for the Styles' Clash, but is countered and flung over the top rope! Corbin follows suit, and the two men are now going at it on the outside! Tons of wrestlers are running down the ramp, but now we have an full roster brawl on our hands! Almost everyone on the Smackdown roster is out here, and they are going at it with no intentions of quitting! The show starts to fade to black as this brawl seems to be getting worse! Don't miss the Royal Rumble this Sunday!
