Paris, France- The 2019 Women's Cup kicked off with Team Canada(1-0) dominating Team Nigeria(0-1) 1-0 off Janine Beckie's Goal that sent Canada up in the rankings 3 points.

"It's surreal! Absolutely surreal!" Beckie screamed.

Nigeria(0-1) was dominated in every Category.

Canada pounded Nigeria by attacking the net.

Nigeria struggled to move the ball as Canada's defense led by Captain Christine Sinclair snuffed out every chance they got.

Team Canada(1-0) will rest for 3 days when they prepare for Team Japan(0-0).

PARIS- The second match of the first round was between Korea(0-1) and Japan(1-0).

It kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Japan's Mana Iwabuchi scored a Goal but was waved off due to interference.

"That was hard at first." Iwabuchi stated with a translator.

But Japan wouldn't quit as they took Korea down to the wire.

In the final moments of the Match, Iwabuchi would get some revenge and kicked the only goal that gave Japan(1-0) the win and 3 points to tie with the United States in the standings.

Team Korea(0-1) struggled in shooting the ball. They had a 30% rate with just 13 shots on the net.

With 3 days to recover for the Second games, Team Korea(0-1) will meet Team Nigeria(0-1) as Team Japan(1-0) will face Team Canada(1-0).

PARIS- Wang Shuang's 2 Goals powered China over Mexico tonight in the first round. Mexico was absolutely dominated by China struggling to get anything going and being blown off the field by China's attack.

China smothered Mexico as they kicked 4 Goals on the way to their first win in the tournament.

Mexico was dead in the water and crushed as China took control of the game after scoring a Goal before half.

In the second half, Mexico fell apart even more as China rallied for 3 more Goals to put the game away for good.

China(1-0) will meet South Africa(0-0) in 3 days for round 2.

Mexico(0-1) will hit the drawing board and prepare for Scotland(0-0).

SCOTLAND rolls over SOUTH AFRICA 3-0..

PARIS- What started out as a chess match blew into a blowout as Scotland(1-0) rolled over South Africa(0-1) in the first round.

Scotland took a 1-0 lead in the first half and blew it wide open in the opening moments of the second.

Scotland didn't stop there however as they kicked their 3rd Goal of the game as South Africa fell apart.

Scotland(1-0) should keep momentum as they face Mexico(0-1) who was annhilated by China.

South Africa(0-1) has to face China(1-0) who dominated the first game against Mexico.
