For the 2nd straight week, Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series rookie Walker Bobby scored his 2nd straight top 5 finish, despite another mediocre qualifying effort of 23rd.

"We had a great long run setup on the car but never could get the qualifying speed we wanted. But at the end of the day, the race result is what matters."

Bobby now sits in 11th place in points.

What happened to that truck that slowed up in front of you and forced you up the track? Glad that incident didn't ruin your race and you were able to bring home another top five.

Honestly not sure. One big problem with the game is no instant replay (aside from end of race highlights or full replay). I was gonna go back and look after race but honestly forgot. Thankfully I was able to move up and not destroy myself or anyone else.

And unfortunately with it's horrendous damage modeling, even if i would have hit it full speed probably still wouldn't have ended my race. Lol

After back to back Top 5's, rookie Walker Bobby was knocked back down to reality today. As has been the normal with Bobby, a lackluster qualify ing effort put them behind the 8 ball from the start. Bobby was forced to start 30th.

"I screwed up and wrecked at start of practice and missed all of practice in fixing the car" (in reality I accidentally skipped practice lol). "So we went in to Q1 already behind the 8 ball." Bobby did make some moves in the race but he never really had the speed to compete. Bobby would end the race in P15.

(Ran this race 2 days ago and kinda forgot alot about it, so reason for short recap).

Some tough performances for Walker Bobby lately. Any tracks coming up where you think you can pick yourself out of this slump?
