notice the callers going on about Jose coming up in a 4 run scenarios but by the time they even finished that the game was over lol they really wanted the Guardians to win that game I think they were bored out of their mind

Didn't wanna jinx it. But I can't believe Francona went with Civale. I'm glad he did. But elimination game. I'm running Bieber out there and whatever happens... happens.

Yankees ran Nestor out there on short rest. These managers just baby their pitchers. Cole was up in the pen after pitching a few days ago.

Probably serves them right after the Josh Naylor home run display.

Good job by Nestor on short rest. I would have actually left him in to pitch the sixth. If Naylor's line drive wasn't caught by the shortstop with runners on first and second the second guessing would have been huge. I thought it was a sure single when it was hit.

Between that, not challenging the play at first and trying a freaking sacrifice bunt on the 2nd batter of the game in a game that you know is more a bullpen game…rough game for Francona

Yep even Cole was ready to if needed after 2 days rest yankees wanted it more.

Only issues here for yankeees yes Nestor doesn't pitch game 1 tomorrow now against verlander
