Re: 2022 NLCS: Philadelphia Phillies vs. San Diego Padres

I don't know about all that. But Harper has been money in the playoffs. This is what they paid him for. He's earning every cent. Can't believe Philly is going to the WS. Not because they are bad.

Just expected Atlanta and NYM. Its just amazing to see them come out of there. Wheeler and Nola have been those Frontline aces. Been fun to watch.

And a moral victory for the Padres. At least they finally slayed the Dodgers. Good postseason for them too.

The NL East has made a statement since 2019 for even more salt in my wounds.

2019 Washington Nationals World Champions
2020 Who wants to count this?
2021 Atlanta Braves World Champions
2022 Philadelphia Phillies ?

Woof. Those are Harold Reynolds level takes. Perfect example of why I never watch studio shows in any sport unless Barkley is involved.

Harold wanted Julio sent down in the first week of April and said it would ruin him keeping him up in the majors.

At least Bryce Harper has personality? Mike Trout is a dud in that department.

I am definitely in the "We had such un-realistic expectations for Bryce that he actually is UNDER-rated" camp, but those quotes are just nonsense. It's been an awesome storyline for him to come up big all playoffs, but it's kind of ridiculous to make a case that big for him.
