My question is, is this the case too when I PAY for it? Certainly not...?

Obviously the Braves aren't going to sell out anytime soon--so every (home) game would be blacked out. That would make my decision real easy...

TIA guys!

60fps came with the latest PS4 app update. Super happy about that.

A VPN is a "virtual private network," where you can get your computer to connect to an IP address of a different location. This works on a computer for MLB.TV because you are blacked out based on your IP address, and you can get them to think you're in China which will unblock you from your local baseball games. I'm watching the Giants game from my classroom on my computer as we speak.

The legal services out there are not free, but they are worth it, stable, fast, and secure. I use ExpressVPN. Their best deal is something like $8.37/month for 12 months, but I went with the 6 month deal for $9.99/month or something like that, because I'm really only using it for the baseball season. You get 30 free days though if you sign up through that link (I won't lie, so will I ).

Highly recommended if you tend to watch blacked out games a lot, but I don't know how this works on PS4 or anything else. I know iPad's will have issues, because your location is determined by your GPS and not an IP address unfortunately.

Hope this helps!

The blackout restrictions are annoying, I had no problem waiting for the game to end and then watch it in archived mode, but having to wait an extra 90 minutes was just too much. I had to end up getting cable to watch my O's play.

VPN is out of the question in my household as well.

It has nothing to do with selling out the home games.

Do you have cable? If you live in the blackout area, you can stream games on your Foxsports station, but you do have to have a cable subscription or login.

I thought they were going to allow it with the single team one, but not sure.

You can set it up so everything on your router works through this IP.

Re: MLB.TV - Major League Baseball online

Not sure if someone has said it, but if you have cable, and you get a regional sports sports channel in your cable package (most people already do), then you can use that cable login to bypassthe blackouts.

If you have a friend with a cable login, I'm sure you can use theirs.
