Re: Baseball Books?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I actually had another $100 on my amazon account from last Christmas I guess so I bought:

The 2%
Moneyball
Baseball Between The Numbers
And a few others suggested on Reddit:
Ball Four by Jim Bouton
Boys of Summer
The Bad Guys Won

Should have a long list of books to read. Really appreciate the help!

Re: Baseball Books?

Every year Hardball Times comes out with an annual. It recaps last year, but most of the book is dedicated to a variety of articles kinda like between the numbers.

I'd also recommend the Baseball Codes.

Re: Baseball Books?

"The Machine" is really an excellant book that goes inside the Cincinnati Reds at their peak in 1975. It talks about the players, gives you a great look at some of their games and goes inside the mind of Managing great Sparky Anderson and how he shaped this team into one of the most dominate teams in baseball history.

Currently reading "Steve Blass _ A Pirate for Life". Ball Four and Boys of Summer are classics.
