Damon Bruce (Bay Area radio personality from Chicago) takes The Human League's Don't You Want Me, and in place of the "me baby" part, he shouts "BEN ZOBRIST."

I wish I had an audio clip of it, it's pretty funny. I think he could use that for sure, heh.

Tigers minor league catcher Chace Numata has passed away after injuries sustained in a skateboarding accident.

He was originally drafted by the Phillies in 2010

According to surveillance cameras on the street he was on, he was just riding on the street and appeared to hit something in the road. Apparently fell forward and hit his head on the pavement. Was found in the street bleeding from his head. Very sad.

The AAA regular season ended yesterday.

Their home run total, while using the MLB's balls, increased by over 2100.

From around 3600, to over 5700.

Also, Minnesota C/1B Mitch Garver on the home runs (he's almost quintupled his career total this year alone):
