See, I’m in a different camp than you here. Read my spoiled post as I make my comparison with steroids. I didn’t for betting or tossing a championship, but I’d have to think about that.

I think this is worse than steroids when it comes to the unfair home field advantage. Even in taking out half of the games where it isn’t a factor, I STILL think it’s worse.

I can respect that. the only real reason I put drug abuse so much higher is because if impressionable children are going to emulate their heroes later in life, I dont want them destroying their body in attempts to cheat. I definitely dont condone what the Astros did, I just dont want people dying in efforts to win.


also, to be clear about Rose, I think all athletes and coaches should put their money where their mouth is and bet on their team to win. My real issue with Rose is the lying and being unable to admit when he was in the wrong. That was a case of the cover-up being worse than the crime. When you make a mistake you should own up to it. my own motto is its better to ask forgiveness than permission
