Re: MLB Off-Topic

Speaking of contests, Jays 50/50 draw is back this season. Guaranteed prize of at least 500k. Last year the draw topped 1.1M!

If I win it, I won't forget about you guys. Everyone gets MLB The Show 21!

Kind of funny you mention this. I had braves season tickets ever since they moved into their new stadium in 2017. Last year when the reports came out that the DH was coming in 2022 I notified my ticket rep that I was cancelling my account for that reason (regardless of covid). He tried to sway me by saying that with the current makeup of the team that it would actually be a good thing.

Re: MLB Off-Topic

Rangers announce they're having full capacity for their home opener, and then limited capacity after that.

I don't know how Texas is, but that seems risky.

As someone who lives in Texas, it's incredibly risky.

But the people running the state don't give a **** (but that's a totally different discussion).

The only saving grace is that masks are required. But again, as someone who lives in Texas, that "requirement" isn't going to be strictly enforced.

I believe slowly building to full capacity would've been much smarter. But we just opened up everything 100% starting today, so the majority of the population think we're totally in the clear and the virus no longer exists inside the Great State of Texas.

This makes zero sense to me.

I don’t think it’s any riskier than being on an airplane. It will be at least a month in to the season before they close the roof and after the novelty of opening day I’m sure people will be somewhat spread out
