Tigers decline option on Alex Avila. Rumors of him retiring due to so mant conccusions. Hope the tigers can sign Russell Martin.

Woah that's shocking. That 5.4 M option was pretty much a lock. Now they need 1 starter, multiple pen pieces, a CF, a C and bench pieces. DD is going to have to get creative like 2009.
