Hmmmm...I kind of feel like the Jays could get away with fleecing somebody with that kind of trade, then again we saw how little AA got for Lind but I think Happ is a guy who has shown flashes of brilliance (he obviously works best when he's working off of his fastball) but when he's not so good it can be ugly. Either way, I feel like Happ is a guy who's been a bit frustrated in his time with the Jays so i'm sure his agent is probably trying to push for such a trade.

BTW a tidbit that's in the "oh that's nice" category: According to Stephen Brunt of Sportsnet about a month or so ago when talking to Blue Jays people they've expressed interest in Pablo Sandoval however, there's caveats to all this as the Jays have shown a great reticence to sign players with that big body type (it was the main reason they didn't really go after Prince Fielder) and obviously they most likely wouldn't give the money or term Sandoval would be looking for.

Pablo won't leave SF....but I could see Happ coming to the Giants...I hear that they might want to add a Lefty to the rotation and their rotation has a hole or 2 in it.

The Hot Stove starts today on MLB Network! Despite Harold Reynolds being on there, I love it. I'd much rather have a variation of it during the regular season instead of that mad dog bull****.

Doesn't surprise me, they pushed hard to sign him but Martin turned them down for the Pirates gig.
