You know, there are a lot of GOOD questions that could be asked. Why are these people asking the questions?
That's my problem with them. They ask alot of questions and they instigate. They know what they are doing.

These people get paid to ask these questions?
I hate those "how important" questions. It's common sense. Of course it's important Verlander keep pitching well. Players always give the same responses anyway. I hate the whole "stay within myself" answer. Of course you have to be yourself. You can't be anyone else.

That's all we were flipping out on at work. It honestly felt about 2 hrs or so to me.

Re: 2017 World Series: Los Angeles Dodgers vs Houston Astros

Just to circle back on the press conference thing for a moment: I agree that it's a bit annoying HOWEVER, I understand the reasoning behind some of these obvious questions. Look at it from the perspective of a sports writer trying to craft a post game story and lead up to Game 2. You need those kind of questions asked so you can get some quotes that add context and personality to the story.

Now i'll agree that when EVERY reporter basically asks those kind of questions that's when it gets super annoying.

Only 3 players this year have played in a previous World Series.

That's the fewest since 1906.
