2018-2019 Hot Stove Thread

Ok I know typically there is a Hot Stove/Winter Meetings thread, but since not all the teams are done playing, I thought we could have a postseason discussion/plans discussion thread, because honestly I didn't know where else to put them.

Adam Wainwright wants to pitch again in 2019. Apparently he and the Cardinals are going to sit down and discuss options. I'm hoping he gets a one year deal and they put him in the bullpen, where he could spot start occasionally. Hoping if they do this, it will keep him off the DL.

Also the Twins have fired Paul Molitor

Mel Stottlemyre Jr out as Mariners pitching coach

Dave Magadan out as D'Backs hitting coach

Re: Postseason transactions/plans discussion thread

I feel like Milwaukee will go for a splash at starting pitching. Dont know how much they do this offseason, if anything at all, considering the prospects they still have.

Re: Postseason transactions/plans discussion thread

Patrick Mooney of the Athletic reporting that MLB/Manfred could make a decision on Addison Russell soon, and possibly before the end of the playoffs.

Also said that the sense around the team is that Russell has played his final game as a Cub.

Good riddance to him.

Re: Postseason transactions/plans discussion thread

The D-Backs are going to actively listen to offers on Grienke (understandable) and Goldschmidt (WTF?!)
