I'm not sure what Cone is referring to. I think everyone knew Yelich was a solid addition, but I don't know if anyone saw this coming. The guy is at another level

AJ's rants about pitchers drives me up the wall.

Anywho, nice to see Yelich showing his MVP form there earlier.

Here's a little something that Sportsnet's studio analyst Joe Siddall brought to the table just now as they were talking about Colorado's attempted steal early on. Manny Pina was looking at 1st, got the sense that a SB attempt was going to be made so as he was setting up it looked like he had his hand on the back of his shin protector. Catchers sometimes rub pine tar on their fingers in said situations to have a better grip on the ball.

It's the little things like that that former ballplayers can bring to the viewers that are great to hear about.

Awful AB by Desmond after the triple. Swing 1st pitch on a ball well off the plate for weak contact.
