Don't worry, they'll get all 5.

Do Jays want to beat Boston?

They just made one of stupidest baserunning decisions any team has made all season.

And bad baserunning has been a trend for them.

I swear...I almost want to become a Phillies fan just because of those uniforms!

Jays win in extras! They're tied with Yankees for 2nd, and Hernandez is now tied for HR lead.

After this long weekend, Jays and Yankees begin a stretch of playing 10 of their final 20 games vs each other.

This is reminding me of that 2015 race. Hopefully it has same result.

How is it that the Jays are 14-7 without Bo Bichette!?! If he can come back in time for the Yankees series....

Well, he did it....Albert Pujols has hung on so long that he's pulled his batting average down below .300 for his career. I was hoping he'd hang 'em up before that happened. When he left STL he had a 328/420/617 career line (OPS+ of 170). His career line now stands at 299/378/547 for an OPS+ of 146. That's what 9 years of 257/313/449 will do for you...

That is insane. He was so impossibly good for a 10 year stretch in STL. I'll never forget watching one of his games, it was the 9th or extra innings. STL was down by 1 with bases loaded when he comes to bat. On the broadcast and on ESPN the next day they were having conversations that the pitcher should have Intentionally walked him, tying the game, rather than pitch to him. I think he was hitting like 750 with bases loaded that season.

I never would have thought that guy could possibly drop below 300. Just goes to show what age will do to a guy.

Thats also why they have stats like WAR7. See just how good a guy was in his peak, because career averages dont always tell the story.

Pujols turned into a .240 hitter once he turned 35.
