Rosenthal says Jays and Semien have talked but obviously have no deal. I'd imagine he hits FA.

Sucks to see because he's been so great this year. Though nobody would've thought he'd be his 2019 self. He's a risky signing. You're paying him based on his 2019-2021 MVP caliber numbers, but do you think he'll sustain that?

Jays offseason will be one to watch. They're 11th in payroll, but will have over 25m in salary coming off their payroll from guys not currently on their roster!

Who knows what happens beyond this year. I know no PA will ever agree to it, but too bad players contracts can't just be voided if found guilty of breaking not just the league rules, but laws too.
