I’m by no means saying he was bad, but he left a lot more pitches than usual over the plate. Fortunately you can do that when you consistently throw triple digits. I’ll gladly sign up for seven innings of shut out ball on an off night

The Cardinals are in a bad way right now.

Re: 6/1- 6/13 Game Discussion Thread

I can' tell if the Braves pitching has been good this series outside of the walks in game 1 or if the Dodgers hitting has been worse than usual. Outside of all of the walks in the first game the Dodgers haven't really done much on offense all series. They are almost being too patient, imo, getting themselves in holes and watching some good pitches to swing at go by.

Not even through two and these umpires are showing why they shouldn't exist anymore. **** these umpires.

Hendricks doesn't have it today. Both the Cubs and Cards bidding to be swept in 4 games.

Edit: Cards have roared back in the 6th to tie their game at 7. And now the Cubs - or rather, Patrick Wisdom by himself - drew even with SF again. 2 AB's, 2 HR's for Wisdom.

That's rough. I thought they had all the momentum after that 7 run 6th.

Cards just couldn't get Winker out.

Hanging curve and Winker didn't miss it.

Goldy singles, Arenado hits a shot down the line that bounces into the stands for a ground rule double stopping Goldy at 3rd (IDK if he scores if it doesn't). Then O'Neill pops out, Sosa strikes out on a high fastball and Jose Rondon chases a slider in the opposite batters box to end the game.

Winning today would've been a psyche boost this team needs. Now they hopefully can collect themselves being off tomorrow before the Indians arrive on Tuesday.
