Just out of curiosity, what's your take on questions like "you just won the game with a walk off, how do you feel?" or "talk me through this play."

I'd rather hear about their favorite foods and such than the fact that they're happy to have won the game or how they "just go out there and execute" and "take it one game at a time". There are way too many questions where you already know the answer.

Fun fact from last night.

Bo Bichette now has a 5.6WAR.

Among other players, he's now tied with Dante Bichette, who had a 5.6WAR in 14 total seasons.

Bos played around 1500 career games fewer than his dad.

Pirates might stink, but glad to see Hayes back. Nice triple.

I don’t care for those questions either, but I’m not forced to listen to them during the game. I’d prefer to just hear play by play and no gimmicky interviews mid game. With that being said, the broadcast grew on me as the game went on. They didn’t really do any commercials I could remember, in between innings they were airing historical stuff on the two teams playing

Re: 6/1- 6/13 Game Discussion Thread

Last night wasn’t the Mets’ night. Tatis’ HR was almost robbed but bounced out of Mason Williams glove, their third run was set up by a Yu Darvish double. Darvish is batting .455 vs the Mets and .071 vs everyone else and then their 4th run scored on a wild pitch. With deGrom and Strowman pitching the last two games hopefully a split is still possible

1st inning of Jays vs Astros is Manfreds dream inning.

Maybe 15 TOTAL pitches between both starters, the entire 1st took several minutes including the commercial break!

Re: 6/1- 6/13 Game Discussion Thread

Why is Riley playing in RF on the shift? Allows Muncy to get a gift because Riley can't field the ball properly. Fielding a grounder that deep is not the same as fielding a ball when you're playing near the bag at 3rd. For a lot of 3B that groundball that takes that long to get to you is the harder ball to field. Too much time looking at the ball and not enough just reacting.

Dodgers still go 1-2-3 after a Turner DP.
