Scoot looks nice.

He is at least like 40 lbs heavier than Chet right now (at almost 2 years younger).

I don’t think it’s realistic to expect anything close to Giannis level physical growth, but he’s well ahead of Chet and has a much better frame to add more weight IMO.

Look at this read and pass. I'd draft this kid.

Obviously needs to get strength but skill wise off the charts.

Re: NBA Draft 2023

These Porzingis/Chet-body type players scare the hell out of me but VM is different.

More than worth the risk with this kid because he has weight on his frame already at 18 yrs old.

And he’s way more skilled than Porzingis was coming into the league. Porzingis was a good shooter but that was it.

Someone’s going to get a franchise-changer.

I'm gonna wait till I see some of these other dudes in college. I hear you on those frail thin type players. I don't trust it either. Was never a big fan of Holmgren.

I'm gonna keep my eye on this kid. But I think the hype for him is too premature.

Re: NBA Draft 2023

Victor plays exactly like Porzingis to me. Not saying there isn’t flashes of a bit more or that it’s not more impressive because of how young he is, but every clip I see he seems to just mirror his game. I’ve yet to sit through a full game to see where his strengths lie outside of the highlight clips, but what made Chet look intriguing despite the frail frame was his defensive awareness from any spot on the floor was just off the charts at the collegiate level. I realize I need to watch more game action from Victor but these blocks he gets because some 6’3 kid is too stupid to realize he can’t shoot the same jumper over a 7’4 guy that he does against a 6’8 guy tells me nothing about how this guy is going to look at the next level lol.

Idk I just see a ton of similarities with him and Porzingis. IMO he looks a bit less fluid/more clunky than Chet but he has much more natural scoring instincts. His handle and footwork into getting off a shot is super impressive for a guy his size.. But, like Porzingis, that’s all I’ve seen him do is try to score. And while his body is much better than Chet’s I don’t think he’s got nearly the size of Porzingis. Idk what they weigh but I’d guess Zinger has 20-30 pounds on him. He has the same hunched over posture as both of them. Basically nothing like a Giannis frame and IMO not much better than either of Chet or Zinger.

Giannis/KD stuff is just way too early. Plays nothing like either one of them. He just so happens to be super lanky like they are.

All of that said, he has the potential to be a generational talent like everyone says. Somewhat concerning to me that his game is all operate from the perimeter though. Regardless of his frame watching Chet operate from the post and high post frequently was a bit of relief. Seeing him crash the offensive glass, operate as a passer, etc.. like I said I’m only seeing clips, but turn over the shoulder jumpers against these other small young guys doesn’t tell me a ton at this point. I get the hype though.
