I don't think it's fair to blame the past sins of the GM on to the new group. They are now picking a direction and going with it and appear to have a plan in place. With all the cap space that's opened up in future years they can pick up future 1st with that if need be.

Oh I'm definitely not putting any blame on the new regime. They did right by pulling the plug. The previous regime left a mess that will take a while to sort out

Seemed like a no brainer he would opt out and secure one last big multi year contract. Golden State needs him back, but he will be able to use several other teams as leverage. I bet he returns to them.

Chris Paul’s $30.8M salary now looking likely to get fully guaranteed with the inclusion of Jordan Goodwin and Isaiah Todd.

His guarantee needs to be raised to $27M to facilitate the current trade. Otherwise, they’d have to dip into their $5M TPE to acquire Goodwin and Todd.
