What if Drazen Petrovic didn't get into that accident. Would probably be the most prolific scorer in NBA history

here is what lead to the lottery in the first place

Here is an excerpt that I found interesting.

Quote:
In the final seconds, however, the Bulls' Steve Johnson was called for goaltending on a shot by Marvin Webster. Webster's shots rarely went in of their own accord, rendering this goaltending violation particularly noteworthy. It would be a great stretch, however, to claim conspiracy. Johnson was not nearly coordinated enough to plan and carry out such a violation at a moment's notice.
Notice the part Ive bolded. If whats bolded is true, then why even bring this up?

Its like even though he immediately distances himself from making an accusation, he still wants to plant the seed or get credit for reading into this one play. Its a little like saying, "no offense but youre stupid and ugly." If you dont want to be offensive, then dont say "youre stupid and ugly", and if youre going to call someone stupid and ugly, then its kind of silly to preface it with "no offense". But in truth, what this writer is doing is worse. At least with the stupid/ugly comment, the person talking can say someone is stupid and ugly because its subjective. This speaking to the motivation of someone on one particular play.
