I know you guys want him to be a consistent Jump shooter like Deron Williams or Derrick Rose was last year it's just not going to happen. It will improve but never something to depend on.

Top 3-4 PG I'll take that.
Going from poop to dirt ain't anything to be proud of. We all know what moral victories are for.

That having been said. Rondo is still damn good and easily no worse than top 6 in the top 10 of PGs in the league. He needs to do himself a favor though and develop that jumpshot now while he's still got Garnett, Allen and Pierce to help mask that kind of thing from the mainstream. Once those guys are gone and he's gotta carry scrubs or just really young/inexperienced guys as THE undisputed man on that team it's going to be front and center on display to be harped about. This is the NBA version of Florida not trying to develop Tim Tebow as a passer (mechanics wise) because the way he was playing was working for what they were trying to do at Florida.

It was well deserved. Rondo was one of the finest passers in the game and his speed defense was impressive. What he needed to do was become more coachable and improve his arsenal of jumpers. Obviously those two things didn't happen.

The Rose, Rondo, Deron and Wall love was REAL in this thread. And at one point, Deron(Utah version)was probably ranked above all of them.

Now, he’s washed out of the league by 31-32 and the others are still going strong despite dealing with significant injuries in their career.

I think that and OP were only instances of someone putting Curry or Westbrook #1 on their list. People praised them, but don't think people ranked them as a clear cut top guy.

We should have an OS vault. Make predictions on anything we expect to happen in a certain time.
