If Houston had good defense and one of the best 6th men in the NBA.

So they are actually a better version of the Rockets. And they have a good coach.

I hope Eric Gordon becomes a star, because all 20 clipper fans will riot if he doesn't

Good luck with Martin NOH.

The guy can score 20+ every night but his defense makes it all irrelevant...Scola isn't as bad, but at least he puts effort into trying.

I dont know where you're getting with the bulls talk but the Rockets screwed up trading Rudy Gay period, it has nothing to do with Chicago

What do they have to show for it? He was a franchise type core player they gave away

I prefer the 2 All-NBA players approach with other good starters and depth.

I disagree with you on Kobe, I think Kobe has only gotten better, minus his athleticism. He is less of a ball hog and has more IQ and skills.

But am going to miss Odom and Pau, especially Pau.

I stopped reading after you said Gasol had a vagina.

Because we have not seen worse teams make the playoffs in the Eastern conference...

Not to mention that dude is a top 4 big man.
I agree he is more skilled and has a much higher IQ now but at this point he should not be handling the ball. His IQ is MUCH better used off the ball, picking apart defenses threw off the ball movement and well set screens.

I won't say this Hornets team can't or won't make the playoffs, but I don't like their chances. I like Monty Williams, but this is really going to test how good of a coach he is and it's just his second year.
You forgot the Clippers.

outside of that, which of those teams are better? Maybe the Suns? Half of Denver's team is in China, Utah blows, Houston just traded half their starting lineup for Gasol, and the T Wolves...idk.

How can you be a Bucks/Raptors/Bobcats/Pacers/etc. fan and have a positive outlook when you know you're likely never ever going to see a championship team because the league has set things up to stack the deck completely against you.

And I'm not sleeping on OKC/Memphis, I'm just saying it's going to be ridiculously hard for them to get additional long term help because nobody wants to play there. For every Kevin Durant you have that just wants to play basketball regardless of where, you have 20 guys likes LeBron and Carmelo who feel like they can only succeed in "big markets".
I never said it was good, I'm just saying it is not new, so I don't see the outrage some people are having over this.

For now yea, OKC/Memphis aren't hot spots, but if one of them win a ring and routinely go deep in the playoffs, I think in todays NBA someone would swallow their pride and go to OKC or memphis. Espcially if KD turns into a top 3 player.

EDIT: sorry, i forgot the Hornets were in the West.
