One thing he's done consistently well is play good defense and get hustle points. I'm actually more confident with Jones around the rim than Patterson because Patterson might throw up some floater and Jones will just go up to dunk.
Man, I really wish Patterson would turn into the player he was at Kentucky, one of my all time faves, and he had some tremendous years for us, I really thought he was gonna be an Nba Star.

He has his moments, he just plays small sometimes. He's still the starter, I think the battle between him, Jones, D-Mo should be fun to watch. One of these guys are going to be the Rockets starting 4 for the future...with Morey any of them can go at any moment though...

Houston has an assortment of "bigs" on their roster...just not sure if any of them are dominant enough. Best guess is McHale will coach them by committee, with the hot hand getting time - I could see their playing time being where one guy will play 30 minutes one night, and possibly getting a DNPCD the next...

So, does Royce White project as a SF or a PF?

Yes I understand that, but I just thought he was gonna be more then he's been, I really though he would be an all star. He was automatic for Kentucky in his first two years, when he wasn't hurt and he worked his *** off. It just hasn't panned out.

We still didn't see if the rookies can be any good there. Lin is a power-up and now Harden...Houston might just have enough scoring option for an 8th seed.
