Best basketball players you've played against?

Kind of a lame story but I was with a friend who had the opportunity to play pick up with Ganon Baker and some others (I only really recognized Ganon).

I guess I could have forced myself into the game too but I suck so bad comparatively

Ganon is so skilled. I think the fact he couldn't make it in the NBA just speaks to the level of competition in the league...

I've actually played pickup with quite a few NFL players, biggest name guys are Michael Crabtree, Darren McFadden, Ndamukong Suh, Felix Jones, Brandon Pettigrew, Michael Oehr, Dexter McCluster and Mike Wallace

Watching some of these NFL guys play 21 2v2 was hilarious, even better when they wanted some 5v5 and had some of us regular dudes fill in.
I'm 5'6" white guy average athlete, and Suh set a pick on me needless to say whoever I was "guarding" (yeah right even at 10% I had no shot athletically against these guys, even the ones that didn't get drafted) had time to eat breakfast before shooting.

I played against Tim Thomas and Troy Murphy when I was in high school.

At a park in Montvale, NJ in 2002, Luke Walton. The story behind that was the kid he showed up with lived across the street from the courts and also went to Arizona. At that very same court in the middle of the suburbia my brother saw Partick Ewing, Jr. there shooting around by himself circa summer 04.

Michael Bradley played pickup games at a basketball camp when I was younger right after Raptors drafted him. Dude was gigantic being only like 11 years old at the time.

Can't say I've 'played' ball against anyone of note, however, one of my friends, John Clark, plays professionally in Europe. I've played with him, but nothing serious.

I had a 'dunk session' with Tashard Choice who is currently RB for the Buffalo Bills. While at Georgia Tech, he was in town for a charity event with some teammates. I was at the hoops by my house dunking around and they all came to the court and followed suit. The kids got really excited to see us just dunking--it was an awesome experience. Being as brolic as he is, everytime he would dunk the whole support system rattled for like a minute afterwards.

I also dunked around with James Petway, formerly of Michigan--well, i mostly watched. He was home from NBD Camp with the Spurs, but I'm not sure where he's at now. I've never seen someone dunk like him. He jumped equally as high off of either foot or both, and dunked with authority with either hand. I remember her got to the gym--he knew my friend and met us there--and realized he forgot his sneakers! Had to go home to get them.
