I think he can potentially be a Thaddeus Young kinda player for a team. A guy that can give you minutes at SF or PF and do a little bit of everything.

I think he could be better than Thad, maybe if he grew, or accustomed to the three spot. Either way, he just needs to fine a good home.

Got to give him 3-4 years before you call him a bust. It's just my rule.

^ What he said. Unfortunately most players have to wait their turn and pay their dues, or be victims of coaches having to give their more tenured players PT in order to keep their egos happy. Obviously that's not the case in all organizations (Spurs being a great example) but many players are stuck in line at their turn to shine. Look at Enes Kanter, #3 pick from 2011 - picked right after Derrick Williams. He's waiting behind the #3 pick from 2010 (Derrick Favors) - who's also still waiting in line.

Number 2 picks never seem to live up to expectations, especially since 2000. Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge being exceptions.

I can dig it. It's just that Timberwolves have all kind of injuries right now and. I just expect a number #2 pick to step in right now and show some consistentcy. I thought it would be interesting to start taking a closer look at him because I forgot that he was a # 2 pick because I don't hear much about his game.

Judging by what I saw watching his college game I expected much more. But just as others have mentioned its a little early to just call him a bust.

That's the thing, he won't get the PT, he has great potential, but the place he will be in will determine his fate in NBA. A great fit for him I think would be the Spurs, to learn behind Timmy D, and to be paired with Kahwi in the future, soulds good to me.
